The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap review for the week of March 13-17 reveals that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) found himself with multiple women chasing after him, but does he deserve all this attention? Nate is a good-looking guy, but he’s not going to win any prizes for how he treats committed relationships.
Despite Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) repeated pleas for the truth, Nate keeps acting like his connection to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is strictly professional.
It’s true that Nate turned down Victoria’s offer to sleep with him, but he’s still sneaking behind Elena’s back and gaslighting her.
Nate is no saint since he’s been painting an innocent picture for Elena when that’s far from what’s happening here.
Elena needs to know that Nate has been kissing Victoria, who tried to throw herself at him with a hotel proposal.
Of course, Audra Charles (Zuleka Silver) is also pursuing Nate now, so Elena honestly needs to dump Nate and be done with it!
Nate isn’t a good boyfriend and isn’t worth all the trouble that he brings to her life.
It’d be nice to see Elena end up with a new man who would treat her right. Those are hard to come by on soaps, but we can dream!
Speaking of dreams, it feels like the show is relying on them far too much lately.
The week of March 13-17 was shorter than usual due to March Madness, but Y&R still found airtime to devote to dreams and fantasies instead of real action.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) drifted off to dreamland thinking of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) before Victoria fantasized about having Nate in her bed.
It’s become a case of dream and fantasy overload in Genoa City, so fans are starting to complain!
It might be better if the show dialed down the fake-outs and pretend drama so they could focus on actually moving the stories forward.
Dream situations can sometimes leave the audience feeling a bit cheated, so maybe they should make some updates and improvements in that department.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the bicentennial gala is just around the corner, so that’s huge news and will help Y&R celebrate their 50th anniversary.
