The Young and the Restless Recap: Wednesday, March 8 – Victoria Plots to Double-Cross Adam – Daniel Rejects Nate’s Idea

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 8, teases that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will visit the ranch, where he’ll accept Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) offer to run McCall Unlimited once it’s acquired.

Adam’s only stipulation will be that he runs the company as its own entity and never has to answer to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so Victor will admit he already had the same idea.

When Adam wonders if Victoria is on board, Victor will urge his son to just leave Victoria to him.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, he’ll be irritated over Victoria stopping by without an appointment.

Victoria will enter anyway since she’ll want to discuss Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) selling his company and will hint that she suspects Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) bought up his debt.

After Victoria reveals Tucker came to her with an offer before pulling it, she’ll want to know where Devon stands on the potential purchase.

Devon will decline to share business details with Victoria since Tucker isn’t the only one he doesn’t trust.

Nevertheless, Victoria will make it clear that Tucker’s company will be a curse for Devon rather than a gift and will think it’s best for everyone if Devon lets her take the lead on this.

At the Abbott house, Ashley will remain cagey as Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) grills her about Tucker and whether he’s truly acting in Devon’s best interest.

Once Tucker arrives, he’ll speak with Ashley alone and suggest making the sale contingent on some large-scale charitable donations to causes near and dear to her heart.

Ashley will get Tucker to focus on Devon and suggest maybe he’s not trying hard enough to strike the deal.

Tucker will question if he has a future with Ashley, so she’ll kiss him passionately and admit she wants this to work.

However, Ashley will need to know that Tucker is sincere about healing things with Devon and being a better man.

After Tucker grips Tucker’s shirt in frustration, she’ll acknowledge that feeling anything at all for Tucker terrifies her.

Once Abby finds Devon going over the financials for McCall Unlimited, he’ll acknowledge that the company would be a good safety net.

Devon will also mention Victoria’s visit and the original deal to Newman Enterprises that Tucker killed.

Abby will realize there’s a link between Tucker and the person who owns his debt, so she’ll ask if that makes Devon want to make the deal or walk away.

After Devon texts Tucker and says they should talk, Tucker will think it’s the universe working in his favor.

Once Tucker talks about that life-changing kiss with Ashley, he’ll feel like it was powerful enough to change Devon’s perspective and spin the world in the right direction.

At Newman Media, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will open up to Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) about his guilt over the destruction he caused for his family.

Although Nate will want Daniel’s help ending Devon and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) lawsuit battle, Daniel will act like it could make things worse and give him a hard pass.

After Daniel says Nate can’t put this back together again, he’ll insist Lily and Devon have to work it out for themselves.

Later, Daniel will fill Lily in on Nate’s pitch, so she’ll be glad that Daniel turned him down. Even so, Daniel will admit that Nate is hurting and seems to sincerely want to help.

Lily won’t be very moved by that, but she’ll talk about all the big dreams she had that have failed.

Daniel will argue that everyone around Lily failed her despite her best efforts.

At Newman Enterprises, Victor will lay down the law with Victoria, who’ll object when her father insists Adam will run McCall Unlimited as a separate entity once they acquire it.

Victoria will complain about Victor not caring if the move is profitable and just wanting Adam to feel like the big man in charge.

Since Victor won’t be willing to negotiate on this, he’ll insist Victoria can either accept the deal or it’s off the table.

Victor will ultimately declare the discussion over and will leave after Nate interrupts.

Nate will get updates on Victoria’s latest challenge, but she’ll refuse to let Adam get his hands on McCall Unlimited.

Victoria will insist she always gets what she wants one way or another.

Although Nate will suggest a compromise, Victoria will act like there’s no place for those in the corporate world.

Instead, Victoria will hint about pacing yourself, having fun with it and letting your opponent think they’re winning. Then, you go in for the kill!

After Victoria gets confirmation that Nate trusts her, she’ll insist she has everything under control.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria has a few tricks up her sleeve, but bad news could be brewing if her plan backfires.
