The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, April 7, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have another conversation about how to move forward. The important part is out of the way since Lily and Devon were able to find common ground as siblings.
No matter what happens now, Lily and Devon are on the same page about protecting their brother-sister bond.
Although Devon has dropped the lawsuit, he still has to decide how involved he’ll be at Chancellor-Winters and how that might affect his relationship with Lily.
Devon has considered the idea of stepping back on a personal level – just to avoid all the day-to-day conflict.
That’d give Devon a chance to perhaps purchase McCall Unlimited and start building something new.
Whatever the case, Devon will have a meeting with Lily and reach an agreement with her.
It sounds like Lily and Devon will once again be in sync, so they’ll make a decision together and go from there.
Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will discover a secret related to Newman Enterprises and most likely lash out over it.
This could involve the mind games Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) seemed to be playing when she rescinded Newman’s offer to buy Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) company.
Victor doesn’t like to be left out of the loop any more than Victoria does, so he may object to her making this move on her own.
Furthermore, Victor may think toying with Tucker isn’t the way to make things work out in their favor.
However, Victoria may act like she knows what she’s doing and push Victor to trust her.
Tucker suspected this was some sort of reverse psychology and that may indeed be what Victoria was going for.
Then again, it’s possible Victoria has reconsidered since deep down she knows Victor is stubborn when it comes to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Why should Victoria put in all this work to acquire a company that Victor’s just going to hand to Adam on a silver platter?
Regardless, Adam will make a fierce demand as he fights for his future.
There was a time when Adam felt he didn’t belong, but now he’ll want a proper spot in the Newman clan and a major business venture to explore, too.
Adam will hope Victor can come through for him with some good news regarding McCall Unlimited or another equally exciting opportunity.
Of course, we should also mention Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) desire to do a medical podcast featuring J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill).
If Victor learns that could be in the works, he may try to shut it down and avoid stirring up Victoria’s past trauma.
