The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 2, teases that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will confront Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) over her role in all the burglary drama, so she’ll back her rival into a corner and rip into her.
Diane may try to play dumb at first, but Nikki will insist she knows Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) conspired to frame Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) together.
Of course, Diane may point out that the plan was mostly Jack’s, but Nikki will still think Diane is leading him down a path to trouble.
Although Nikki will hope Jack just helped Diane for Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) sake, Diane will offer updates on her latest romantic reunion.
Nikki will find that news unfortunate and will argue that Jack is always such a smart man except when it comes to Diane!
Despite Nikki’s warning that Diane will only drag Jack down, Diane will look forward to a bright future with Jack by her side.
In the meantime, Jack will blast Kyle for going behind his back with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and plotting to get Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) out of Jabot.
Kyle will ultimately come clean about letting Victor recruit him, but he’ll defend his actions and play up the benefits.
However, Jack will be deeply disappointed in Kyle for trying to undermine his decision regarding Adam.
The fact that Kyle hid his scheme won’t go over well with his father either, but Jack will turn his attention back to Diane eventually.
Once Jack dons a tux, he’ll treat Diane to a wonderful night together.
Jack will share a toast with Diane and make it clear that he’s not worried about the naysayers, so she’ll appreciate his belief in them.
As for Victor, he’ll realize his plan has backfired spectacularly.
Adam may approach Victor to let him know his sabotage plot was an epic fail and insist it’s going to take more than that to get him out of Jabot.
Victor may vow to get Adam back into the Newman fold soon anyway, but Adam just won’t envision that happening.
Still, if Y&R fans have learned anything over the years, it’s that you should never count out Victor Newman!
Even when Victor faces defeat, he’s always got something else cooking up.
