The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, February 1 Recap – Sally’s Bad Medical News – Daniel Calls to Stop Phyllis

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 1, teases that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will find Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) waiting for a takeout order at Society, so they’ll discuss the latest drama involving Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Abby will admit she urged Devon to accept the buyout at first, but she’ll point out that she understands his perspective now.

After Abby wonders why Lily doesn’t just accept Devon’s decision, she’ll think it says more about Lily’s priorities than anything else.

“How dare you question my priorities!” Lily will fire back before defending how much family means to her.

Abby will act like Lily is misinterpreting what she said, but Lily will clarify that she simply wants to keep working with Devon.

Furthermore, Lily will think going to court could damage Hamilton-Winters, so she’ll hope Abby might be able to get through to Devon if she believes in the importance of family.

At Crimson Lights on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Devon will have a tense encounter with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who’ll be too curious about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

At The Grand Phoenix, Tucker will make another pitch to Daniel Romalott Jr (Michael Graziadei) about his gaming platform before adding that he doesn’t give up.

After Tucker says he’s a big believer in trusting the universe, Daniel will recall that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) used to always say that.

Since Daniel will still be hoping for a reunion with his family, he’ll admit he’s indeed trying to trust the universe.

Tucker will assume Daniel must have a lot of trust in Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) as well since she just flew to Portugal to smooth things over with Heather and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant).

Daniel will be thrown over Tucker’s updates, so Tucker will act like he’s sorry for overstepping and causing problems.

However, Daniel will thank Tucker for the info and privately call Phyllis to warn against getting on that plane.

When Devon meets up with Abby, he’ll admit he can’t shake the feeling that Victoria is up to something with Tucker.

Abby will also mention her run-in with Lily, who insisted she wants nothing more than to keep working with her brother.

After Abby talks about hearing the pain in Lily’s voice, she’ll admit she thinks this is genuinely about hanging onto Devon, not Hamilton-Winters.

Nevertheless, Devon will track Lily down in her office and let her know that doesn’t make sense to him. Devon also won’t get why Lily is using Abby to try and influence him either way.

Lily will try to explain, but Devon will think she cares more about profits and Jill’s agenda than family. Once Devon admits that hurts, he’ll walk out on Lily.

At Devon’s penthouse, Tucker will be surprised when Abby answers the door.

After Tucker offers a gift for Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware), he’ll also hope Abby will let him share his side of the story.

Tucker will explain how he made a major miscalculation, but he’ll assure Abby that he’s not giving up on his son or grandson.

Abby will argue that Tucker should indeed give up since he’s bad news and only brings drama.

As Abby throws Tucker out, she’ll offer him some advice. “Don’t cross me…don’t cross us!” Abby will declare before slamming the door on Tucker.

At the Abbott house, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will meet up with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) so he can share his honest concerns about her relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Kyle will point out that Jack became a jewelry thief for Diane and stole from Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) grandmother, so he’ll think his worries are warranted.

Diane will suspect this is about protecting Kyle’s heart too, so she’ll assure him that the danger’s over and that she’s not going to abandon him again.

Kyle will still be scared another shoe’s going to drop, but Diane will promise there are no more secrets or surprises from her past.

Back at Society, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be curious what Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are discussing, so Adam will explain that Nick was helping him avoid a landmine regarding their father – though his motives might be self-serving.

Since Sally won’t have an appetite anymore, she’ll convince Nick that they should leave.

Adam will stop Sally since she isn’t acting like herself, but Sally will claim she just has a lot on her mind.

Once Nick joins Sally in her suite, she’ll admit her doctor wants her to come in for a follow-up appointment because of her high blood pressure.

Sally won’t be able to deny the reality of this pregnancy anymore and the massive responsibility that comes with it.

Although Sally will be overwhelmed and worried about this affecting her romance with Nick, he’ll insist they don’t need to look any further ahead than her next doctor’s appointment.

Back with Adam, he’ll fill Jack in on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) working to get him out of Jabot and back into the Newman fold.

That won’t surprise Jack, but Adam will admit there’s less pleasant news and will believe Kyle is involved.

Jack will struggle to buy that Kyle would purposely sabotage Adam – least of all with Victor.

Even so, Adam will mention catching the pair together and receiving a weak cover story.

After Adam assures Jack that he’s not trying to cause trouble, he’ll stand by his belief that Kyle and Victor are conspiring to take him down.

Jack will seem more convinced after he hears Adam’s reasons and considers how Victor operates.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will land in a tight spot with Jack soon, so stick with the CBS soap.
