The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, March 27, teases that Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) will decide Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) are the winners of her search for the hottest scoop.
After Leanna approaches Diane and Jack on the dancefloor, she’ll want to do a huge story for the homepage of her website. Leanna will sell it as a big article about Diane’s return from the dead and her reunion with Jack after all these years.
Although Leanna will think it’s a chance for Diane to share her side, Jack won’t think Leanna will be fair about it and will urge her to buzz off.
That’ll force Leanna to go back to seeking out another sizzling story.
In Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) suite, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will grumble about how Jack and Diane are probably going to announce their engagement news.
That’ll give Jeremy the idea to score the ring from Jack’s pocket and use it for the scene they’re creating. Jeremy will don his mask and bump into Jack, so the physical contact will give him an opportunity to score the ring.
Jack will notice the masked man blowing past him and will suspect it was Jeremy.
Diane will suspect the same thing, but she’ll urge Jack to stay at the party instead of rushing after their mutual enemy.
When Diane says it might be the right moment to announce their engagement, she’ll clearly be hoping Jack forgets about his Jeremy search.
However, Jack will head off to speak with the security team and make sure Jeremy doesn’t ruin their upcoming announcement.
Meanwhile, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will answer a phone call from Harrison Abbott’s (Kellen Enriquez) nanny and worry that something’s wrong.
It turns out Harrison will be unable to sleep due to the disappearance of his favorite stuffed fox.
Summer will step away from the bash to brainstorm ideas on where the stuffed fox might be, so Kyle will follow after her.
That’ll give Jeremy a chance to literally run into Kyle and snatch his phone.
Once the fox is found, Summer and Kyle will breathe a sigh of relief. Kyle will suggest celebrating with Champagne, but Summer will think this calls for coffee and dessert instead.
When Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) walks in the gala with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), he’ll vow to stay right by her side in case things get overwhelming.
Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will speak to Chelsea about the gaming platform and will mention that he’s giving Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) space.
The lounge dedication for Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) was a lot to take in, so Daniel won’t want to hover.
Billy will be thankful that Lily has Daniel to lean on and that he’s being sensitive to her feelings.
There’ll be a little awkwardness when Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) questions Billy about his evening with Chelsea, but he’ll insist it’s a friendly outing.
Back with Daniel, he’ll compare notes with Summer about Phyllis acting so emotional earlier.
Daniel and Summer will admit to being a bit moved by Phyllis’ words.
Nevertheless, Kyle will assure Summer and Daniel that they did the right thing by laying down the law.
As for Phyllis, she’ll deceive Diane by acting like Kyle suddenly fell ill.
Phyllis will claim Summer took Kyle upstairs to a suite since he was dizzy and battling nausea, but Diane won’t buy it.
When Diane tries to text Kyle for confirmation, Jeremy will have Kyle’s phone.
Diane won’t get an answer, so she’ll eventually decide to go upstairs and see if Phyllis is telling the truth.
Phyllis will pretend she’s not going to follow, but she’ll do it anyway – and Leanna will witness Phyllis slinking up after Diane nearby.
Other Y&R spoilers say Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will address Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) retirement and trip to Portugal.
Christine will also hint about needing a change and potentially taking back her former position as the district attorney.
While Christina gabs with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), Lily will plead with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) outside the bash.
It’ll take some convincing, but Devon will finally soften toward Lily and agree to call the lawsuit off.
Lily will let Devon know she’s sorry as she pulls him into an embrace. Devon will insist he’s sorry too as the siblings hug it out.
Back at the party, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will try to get inside Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) head about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) making her move with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Elena will burst Victoria’s bubble when she derails her conversation with Nate and plants a big kiss on him.
Once Victoria joins Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) nearby, Nate will struggle to keep his attention on Elena.
After Elena realizes Nate’s distracted, she’ll look irritated and step away from the bar to do some solo mingling.
That’ll lead to Elena talking to Audra again and admitting her suggestion to interview J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) on the podcast might’ve been a good one after all.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Elena will seem more interested in luring Victoria’s old flame back into the picture, so stay tuned for updates on her plan.
