Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has had a rough time in recent months – starting with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) getting full custody and restricting his access to Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater).
Then, Brady had to contend with Tate Black’s (Jamie Martin Mann) boarding school drama and all the co-parenting struggles that brought with Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien).
Now Tate’s caught up in this Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) overdose crisis, which Brady tried and failed to take the blame for.
Once Tate lands at Statesville and gets beaten up pretty much immediately, that’ll add to Brady’s list of woes.
It’s easy to see how Days is slowly pushing Brady toward his breaking point.
During the week of January 8-12, things will go from bad to worse for Brady. The difficult custody situation with Kristen will once again become a major issue.
Brady was supposed to have a daddy-daughter date night with Rachel on New Year’s Eve, but Kristen unexpectedly took her out of town.
That forced Brady to miss out on valuable bonding time, but his next attempt to reconnect with Rachel will be a bust as well.
Days spoilers say Brady will have to cancel on his daughter so he can support Tate, so Rachel may feel like he’s playing favorites.
Kristen will certainly blow her top at Brady and force Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to referee their fight.
Unfortunately, it sounds like Rachel will have a meltdown over Brady bailing on their new plans.
Brady will call Kristen out for turning Rachel against him, but Kristen may argue that Brady’s to blame for missing his scheduled time with Rachel.
Never mind the fact that Kristen was the one who canceled last time around! Days spoilers say it’ll be all Brady’s fault from Kristen’s perspective.
Brady may urge Kristen to explain things to Rachel and help her understand, but Kristen will probably cut off all contact between Brady and Rachel instead.
Whatever the case, DOOL spoilers say Brady will reach a new low once Rachel hates his guts and injured Tate is suffering behind bars.
Brady’s role as a dad is quite important to him, but he’ll feel like he’s failing at fatherhood in so many ways.
Since we know someone is set to relapse during the week of January 15-19, it seems likely it’ll be Brady.
All of Brady’s problems will become too much to bear, so Brady may return to drugs and alcohol as he tries to cope.
