GH writers have been teasing a potential Morgan Corinthos (last played by Bryan Craig) return for years, so it’s probably just a matter of time until it happens.
This might be the ideal opportunity to put Morgan back on canvas.
Maybe a villain with a grudge against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been holding Morgan hostage in the years since his presumed demise.
Perhaps Jason was eventually thrown in captivity with Morgan as part of a mystery baddie’s grand plan.
Since Morgan would likely be played by a new actor this time around, it’d be a great way to introduce the recast and have fans get used to his portrayal.
We could watch the new Morgan’s scenes with Jason first and then see them escape or get rescued together.
Whatever the case, Sonny and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are already going to be stunned when Jason returns from the grave.
Can you imagine if GH writers make this a double back-from-the-grave whammy and reveal that Jason’s brought Morgan home with him, too?
The show obviously couldn’t miss out on the hype of Steve Burton’s comeback as Jason Morgan, so we get why they already announced it in dramatic fashion.
It makes sense to share that news and get fans eager to tune in.
Nevertheless, they still have a chance for a surprise if Jason doesn’t come home alone! Carly and Sonny could get their close friend as well as their beloved son back if Jason shows up with Morgan.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that’s how this story will play out, but it’s at least an intriguing idea to ponder.
