Great news for Cobra Kai fans, as the show has been given an official release date schedule for the series’ final episodes. While the sequel to the Karate Kid film franchise was originally created for YouTube Red, it moved to Netflix for Season 3 and the streaming platform will also air Season 6 shows.

In addition to new and original characters, Cobra Kai also features legacy roles fans have gotten to know well over the years through the Karate Kid franchise, centering around the strained relationship between Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio); rivals from the very first movie, released in 1984.
The official Cobra Kai Season 6 release date schedule was announced during Netflix is a Joke Fest. It’s important to note that this will be the final season of the series.
Cobra Kai Season 6 On Netflix – When To Tune In
Cobra Kai Season 6 will consist of 15 episodes, and their release dates will be divided into three sections. Netflix will air “part one” of Cobra Kai, Season 6 on July 18, 2024, followed by “part two” on November 28, 2024, and the conclusion the series will wrap up in “part three” on a date to be determined, in 2025, which is being touted as the “Finale Event”.
As of this writing, there is no indication of how many episodes will be released in each part, or if there will be a different number of shows released during the three separate segments. Fans will have to wait and see.
In more Karate Kid news, a new film for the franchise is set to come in 2025, and Cobra Kai’s final episode will likely unravel just before the movie debuts.
The flick features Macchio, along with Jackie Chan who will reprise his martial arts mentor character, Mr. Han, from the Karate Kid reboot that was released in 2010. The storyline centers around a new karate student, played Ben Wang, and will take place on the East Coast.
