Beyond the Gates spoilers for Tuesday, June 17, imply some over-the-top moments in Fairmont Crest. First off, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) and Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will share confessions with one another.
While the couple is still hot and heavy between the sheets, Andre wants more from Dani outside the bedroom, and she’s been a little apprehensive about going public.
While they did enjoy a nice outing at Orphey Gene’s during the week of June 9-13, Dani is still holding back.
From the sounds of it, Andre will likely confess about the awkward encounter he had with Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Katherine “Kat” Richardson (Colby Muhammad) last week, when he popped into the guest house, looking for Dani, but found the two young ladies instead.
Chelsea and Kat have moved in there, but it sounds like Dani didn’t fill Andre in on the news.
BTG’s preview for the week of June 13-20 shows an outraged Dani questioning Andre if her daughter and niece know about the two of them, so all arrows point to Andre’s “confession” not going over well with Dani.
Still, what will Dani’s confession be to Andre? Are these two heading toward a split?
Across town, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) will try and accept what she’s willing – and not willing – to sacrifice for Doug McBride’s (Jason Graham) sake.
This is interesting since Vanessa went out on quite a limb during the Monday, June 16 episode, when she re-negotiated her real estate deal with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
Both Joey and BTG fans were shocked when Vanessa boldly called Joey out on his shadiness and then seemed to be offended that he went to great lengths to scam her and Doug, when all he needed to do was present his money laundering ideas nicely to her.
In fact, she ironed out a solid deal that not only saw Joey wipe away Doug’s gambling debt (after all, she noted that she may be a cheater, but she’s not disloyal to her husband) but also increased what both she and Doug would receive in percentage profits in this scam.
The two secured the whole deal with some steamy action in Joey’s casino, so it’ll be interesting to see what Vanessa feels she needs to sacrifice.
There’s a good chance that Doug may not be okay with his wife pursuing anything with the casino owner, but will she listen?
Then again, Vanessa flipped pretty quickly on being upset at Joey and presenting this counter-deal, so maybe she’s pulling some sort of scheme on the casino owner to bring him down?
Across town, Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) will try and convince Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) to accept treatment for his hallucinations.
Will the congressman finally open up about this to his husband?
Considering the reason behind these hallucinations is his “secret” – a secret that Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) warned him not to tell Smitty about – it’s hard to think that Martin will turn and spill all to Smitty, but for the sake of the relationship, he may.
Will he also tell Smitty about his “attack” on the mystery man who’s parading around as a country club waiter (Jason Vendryes)?
This all went down during the final moments of the Monday, June 16 episode, after he thought the man whispered in his ear, “What color is your money?”
Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that it’s quite possible that Martin his ‘attack’ on the waiter could’ve both been a hallucination, as he recently daydreamed about attacking Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett), and that ended up being a figment of his imagination!
This could continue to shake Martin, so he may confide some half-truths to Smitty, in hopes he can lean on him a little during this trying time.
