Beyond the Gates spoilers for Wednesday, November 5, hint that Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) will be busted by Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob), while Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will do something that shocks Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson).
BTG’s weekly promo shows Ashley walking into the apartment she now shares with Derek, as he’s standing up from his wheelchair on the phone.
She’s happily surprised to see him in that state, while Derek looks like a deer caught in headlights.
Ashley’s joy may turn to disdain when she realizes that Derek’s been lying about his physical therapy progress all along.
After all, she’s a nurse and once the excitement of her fiancé’s “miracle” fades, she may have an epiphany that Derek didn’t simply just “get up” all of a sudden: he’s worked towards this moment.
Will the wedding be called off? This is in light of Derek pressuring to set a date during the Monday, November 3 episode, so Ashley is bound to be very upset at Derek’s manipulation.
Speaking of lies, Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman) will open up to Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), where his past is concerned.
He had an interesting conversation with Dani’s bestie and the co-owner of her modeling agency, Pamela Curtis (Cady McClain), during the Tuesday, November 4 show.
Pamela questioned him about why he didn’t want to participate in the Forrester Creations’ ad campaign with his wife.
His involvement was a major stipulation, and when he backed out, they lost the chance to be a part of the big and splashy ad.
Andre reasoned he just didn’t want to be a model, but Pamela noted that not doing the modeling job would ruin Dani’s chances where her modeling comeback was concerned.
During the November 5 show, Andre will talk to Dani about his painful history, so will he reveal the real reason he doesn’t like his photograph being taken?
Is this about losing his parents, or will he use this as an excuse? Beyond the Gates fans can’t shake that Andre is hiding something.
Across town, Nicole will extend a peace offering to Ted, which will catch him off guard.
These two are officially divorced and are moving toward a friendship and co-parenting relationship, so what will Nicole do that stuns Ted so much? Could the two share a kiss or more?
Finally, Ted’s other woman, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), will believe that she, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle), and Ted will one day be a happy family.
Much like the situation with Nicole, Ted has made major strides in easing the conflict of his toxic past with Leslie, and as he recently told Eva to start calling him “Dad”, Leslie can’t help but feel hope that the three may one day come together.
Not to mention the fact that Eva told her mom how he shared his feelings with her about when he first met her mom, and how she dazzled him.
Beyond the Gates spoilers note that Ted’s heart belongs to Nicole, but it’s clear he does still care for Leslie – plus, there’s still an attraction there – so it’ll be interesting to see how this love triangle will wrap up when all is said and done.
