It sounds like this will be linked to Anita’s recent Articulettes reunion concert.
As the weekend hits, Anita and her bandmates will be asked to plan for their future, so will Devon offer an album deal or a tour? Maybe, both?
Anita will also deal with family drama as she and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) will comfort one of their daughters on the August 14 show.
Will this be Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) or Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix)?
Nicole will officially file for divorce from Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) this week; however, Dani also always seems to follow drama, so it’s hard to say.
Speaking of Dani, she’ll apologize to Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings), and she’ll also provide Bill Hamilton (Timon Durrett) with some support as he’ll be very distraught over his wife’s miscarriage.
Will Hayley accept Dani’s apology, or will she milk this situation to create a wedge between Dani and Bill?
Hayley has seen first-hand the bond between the exes, and this pregnancy lie (if it was a lie) could’ve been concocted to create friction between them.
Regardless, if this is the case, Hayley’s plan may backfire.

Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) saw him smooching it up with Dani on Friday, August 8, and she may realize that her mom, Jan Morgan (Jerri Tubbs) was right about the ‘playboy’.
As the week progresses, Andre and Ted will talk about their relationship woes, so it sounds like Ashley and Andre won’t be hooking up anytime soon.
Finally, Ashley and Dr. Madison Montgomery (Kenjah McNeil) will deal with a massive medical emergency at the hospital.
