Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for the week of December 29-January 2 reveals that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will want to pull the plug on Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) while Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) wedding night arrives.
DOOL’s weekly promo begins with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), who’s officiating Javi and Leo’s nuptials.
As the guests watch nearby, Marlena insists they’re gathered there to “witness the union of these two beautiful souls in marriage.”
Although Leo and Javi will look delighted to be marrying each other, there’s always a chance for drama when two people tie the knot in Salem!
Days spoilers say Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) will reenter the picture soon and shake things up, so Javi and Leo have more relationship challenges ahead.
The weekly promo also features a mistletoe kiss for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and “Patchy Claus” aka Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).
As for Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll have one last Christmas gift for Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) to open.
Stephanie will look intrigued as she prepares to tear into the present Alex offers up.
Other Days spoilers say Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will reunite with Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) following his kidnapping ordeal, so they’ll share a smooch and celebrate his safe return.
Meanwhile, it looks like Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will literally bump into Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), so there’ll be some awkwardness and a mess to clean up after their collision at the hospital.
Although Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will be torn over whether to take Peter off life support, EJ will think the choice is clear.
“I say we agree to pull the plug here and now before Peter can do any more damage to this family,” EJ declares in Days’ weekly preview video.
Of course, we know from the sneak peek video released in November that Peter will ultimately wake up and put Kristen on full blast.
Peter won’t accept Kristen’s apology and will have some harsh things to say about her multiple betrayals.
