General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, December 19, reveals that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) Dawn of Day cult past haunted before Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) blasted Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for blowing it.
In court, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) got Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) to testify about Dawn of Day and the weapons training that was given to members of Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) trust, which Willow had been part of.
However, Alexis got Kristina to admit Willow had been helpful in trying to get her out of the cult and that she’d never seen Willow with a firearm.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) took the stand next, which brought some talk about the scandalous nursery video and how much power Drew had over Willow.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) testified about the gun being found in Willow’s room at her house, where Willow was staying after her wedding to Drew was derailed.
ADA Turner highlighted the fact that Willow dumped Drew over his encounters with her own mother and acted like it was a good motive to go after him.
Justine also suggested Willow might’ve wanted Drew out of the picture since he was a hurdle to seeing her children.
Alexis objected multiple times during ADA Turner’s attempt to spin things and got Liz to testify about Willow’s good side.
During a recess, Drew ranted about Alexis blowing this and warned she’d never see Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) again if she kept this up.
Although Drew wanted to testify that he remembered Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) was the one who shot him, Alexis vehemently warned against another lie for the defense and refused to be complicit in his perjury.
Drew ultimately listened to Alexis on the stand and told ADA Turner that he didn’t remember who pulled the trigger.
Once court was over for the day, Drew tossed more threats around and made it clear to Alexis that he could change his mind about “remembering” Michael shot him.
Outside the courtroom, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) seemed suspicious of Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) when it came to the disappearance of the traffic cam footage, but Chase argued he’d never resort to evidence tampering.
At Café Cherie, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) wound up ordering another expensive dessert to distract the waiter.
Moments later, Britt and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) made a break for it, so they laughed over dining and dashing once they got back to her place.
As their catch-up session continued, Britt gave Brad updates on how she’d reconnected with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
There was ultimately a knock at the door, so Britt answered it and found Chase standing there with another officer.
Britt played dumb, but Chase assumed she knew what this was about. Both Brad and Britt ended up in handcuffs as they were placed under arrest.
At Isaiah Gannon’s (Sawandi Wilson) cabin, he entertained Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) with games while she was on bed rest and vowed to be the best father possible if this was his baby.
Portia eventually took Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) call on Friday’s GH episode and lied about a female friend taking care of her.
At Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) place, she spoke to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project involving cold fusion and argued that Britt wasn’t some innocent victim.
Jason had a flashback of Britt mentioning cold fusion on their flight home.
Josslyn explained Britt’s data analyst role and how she’d continued working on the project after returning to Port Charles.
Joss also suspected Britt was tied to Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) vanishing act.
There was some talk about Josslyn’ investigation and how she was being forced to use Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
The topic of Spoon Island came up, so Jason remembered how he found Britt on the docks right after her PC comeback.
Nevertheless, Jason defended Britt since she might’ve been coerced into this mess due to her need for her Huntington’s medication.
Josslyn decided she’d dig for more info and was happy to be teaming up with Jason.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) worked to convince her that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) likely held onto the video evidence that he made disappear on the FBI.
Valentin suggested Brennan could use it as leverage and that Carly’s relationship with him was built on a lie.
Carly struggled over all this since Brennan had done a lot of good deeds for her and the people she cared about, including Michael.
However, Valentin didn’t think any of that outweighed what Brennan did when he recruited Josslyn to the WSB.
After Valentin declared their alliance over since he didn’t think Carly was all in, she corrected him.
Carly insisted she’d never been more committed to taking Brennan down.
At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) place, Brennan stormed out and ran into Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who got a reminder to come through on their end of their deal.
Nina wound up taking Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) out to lunch, which led to Charlotte admitting Valentin had contacted her.
Nina stopped Charlotte from divulging more and caught her former stepdaughter off guard.
After Nina admitted powerful men were looking for Valentin on both sides of the law, she warned that Charlotte couldn’t trust anyone with this news – not even Nina.
General Hospital spoilers say more tight spots are ahead as the hunt for Valentin continues, so stay tuned!
