General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, July 25, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) cried as Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) refused to forgive her. The bride ultimately entered the wedding as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) beamed, so let’s talk about how it all went down on Friday’s exciting episode.
While Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) had another fight with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) over Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Sonny was in Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) room using some intimidation tactics.
Sonny thought Marco should head back to Miami, but Marco couldn’t do that now that he was building a life in Port Charles.
However, Marco did admit he no longer blamed Sonny for Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) death.
Sonny also confessed that some of Natalia’s last words were about her love for Marco and how much she regretted being estranged.
Over with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), she tried to convince Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to come to the wedding with her since she was officiating, but he declined.
There was some talk about Sidwell wanting peaceful coexistence with Sonny before Lucy took off.
Once Lucas found Sonny in Marco’s hotel suite, he wasn’t happy about it.
If Sonny ever touched Marco again, he vowed to go straight back to the police.
After Sonny left, Marco admitted to Lucas that he didn’t give a statement to the cops about what Sonny did.
Lucas wanted Sonny to pay for the kidnapping, but he respected Marco’s decision on this.
Sonny made his way to Carly’s office, where he asked if she ever told Lucas anything that could come back to bite him.
Carly denied it before admitting both Sonny and Lucas were driving her crazy!
Lucas eventually came back to give Carly her key since he was moving out of her house.
Once Marco met up with Sidwell, he assured his father that he was all in and that Sonny needed to go!
At the Metro Court pool, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) wasn’t pleased as she watched Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) flirting – especially when Molly put sunscreen on his back.
Kristina send Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to distract Cody, so he pulled Cody away for a conversation.
That gave Kristina a chance to get inside Molly’s head and make it seem like Cody might be after a big payday since she was both a lawyer and a Cassadine.
Molly brushed off the idea, but Kristina still didn’t want Molly getting too close and realizing Cody had an agenda.
When Cody returned later and wanted to get the sunscreen application back on track, Molly seemed uneasy.
At the church, Drew spoke to Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) about how they were going to live happily ever after as a family with Willow.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) seemed nervous about what was happening behind closed doors with Willow and Nina, but she made time to snap at Ric for getting cozy with Liz in the vestibule.
Ava also made an appointment for next week with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) since she wanted to discuss some business.
Once Nina arrived at the bridal prep room, Willow pushed for the truth about whether she had an affair with Drew.
Nina tearfully confessed to sleeping with Drew from April to August of last year, so Willow flew into a rage.
The entire time Willow was falling in love with Drew, Nina was hooking up with him and said nothing.
Willow fumed since Nina watched her throw her marriage and kids away for a man who was lying to her.
Nina explained her misguided attempt to lure Drew away from Willow and insisted she pumped the brakes when she realized how important Drew was to her.
Although Willow wondered if Nina was in love with Drew, Nina hated him then and still hated him now.
Willow said she would’ve left Drew in a heartbeat if she’d known the truth and would still have her children, but Nina couldn’t risk losing her own child in the process.
After Willow ripped into Nina for her selfishness, she snapped that Nina helped her lose custody of the kids – and she’d never forgive her for that.
Now Willow didn’t know what she was supposed to do since she’d lost everything and burned every bridge.
Willow suggested she had nothing left but Drew, but Nina assured Willow that she had her.
Of course, Willow disagreed and made it clear that Nina wasn’t cut out to be a mother.
In fact, Willow envied Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) since she died never knowing Nina was her mom.
After Willow wished she’d been that lucky, she pushed Nina to get out.
Once Willow was alone, she flashed back through her relationship with Drew and looked pensive.
Nina found Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) soon after and wanted to get out of there.
After Nina hinted that there wasn’t going to be a wedding, the guests received news that the bride was ready.
Liesl guessed that Nina was mistaken – and soon after the music began to play, the doors opened to reveal Willow in her wedding gown.
As Willow entered the sanctuary with a blank stare, Drew smiled since he had no idea anything was wrong.
