General Hospital Thursday, December 18 Recap: Willow Traffic Cam Footage Gone, Anna’s Creepy Gift from ‘C’

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, December 18, reveals that the Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) traffic cam footage was gone while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) got a creepy gift from “C.”

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) gave her a necklace to celebrate Christmas a little early.

Carly made excuses for why she’d been at home more often before Brennan griped about Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) hindering his efforts to speak with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

After Carly offered to help, Brennan took off alone. Valentin saw that the coast was clear and joined Carly in the kitchen.

When the conversation turned to how Carly first got involved with Brennan, she reflected on visiting Jack in prison and seeking help understanding the FBI.

That was back when John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) was forcing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to work with him.

Carly recalled how she’d faced racketeering charges, but Valentin assumed Brennan used the WSB to make the evidence go away.

That led to Carly’s realization that Brennan had indeed done that, so she seemed moved since they weren’t even dating at the time and he never told her.

Valentin argued that Brennan was saving that info so he could use it to his advantage later.

At Café Cherie, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had a feast of expensive food along with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate their reunion.

Britt told Brad how she ended up at the Five Poppies Resort before mentioning their cold fusion project and how she was stuck due to the medication she needed.

There was also talk about Britt taking orders from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), so Brad realized he was the father of Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) new boyfriend, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).

Once the bill came, Britt expected Brad to pay it. Brad insisted he only had one maxed out credit card left since the model he’d been dating blew through all his money.

Brad assumed Britt could afford it on her doctor’s salary, but Britt pointed out she didn’t have her medical license and was broke.

That left Britt and Brad in a bind since neither of them could cover the bill.

At Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, Brennan demanded to talk to Charlotte, but her mother continued to block access.

After Brennan threatened to haul Lulu down to the WSB office, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) defended her.

Brennan ended up questioning Nathan’s memory loss and the PCPD’s decision to give him his badge back.

Although Nathan used the name West, Brennan offered Lulu a reminder that he was a Faison like his father.

In captivity, Anna did as she was told and faced away from Pascal (Marc Forget) as he delivered her lunch.

After some bickering in French, Anna ate before noticing a package was taped under her meal tray.

Anna opened it and discovered it was a familiar book, The Crystalline Conspiracy by P.K. Sinclair.

Since Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) wrote that novel, Anna was rattled – especially since the note inside said it was for his muse and was signed “C.”

Anna’s eyes went wide as she hurled the book away from her in a panic.

At Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) apartment, she swept the place for bugs before talking to Jason, who wanted info on the WSB’s Five Poppies investigation.

Jason was eager to find out details related to Faison, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard).

Josslyn refused to commit treason, but Jason needed her help for Britt since she was stuck in this mess due to needing her medication.

After Josslyn ranted about Brennan using agents as tools and not viewing them as people, she acknowledged that she trusted Jason more than him.

In the courtroom, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) discussed some news with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) during a break.

The PCPD no longer had the original footage of Willow caught on the traffic cam, so Turner got updates and contemplated how to handle the setback.

Once court resumed, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) testified and recapped what happened the night she found Drew injured.

ADA Turner asked about the bat on the floor, but Tracy insisted she didn’t move it.

Alexis took her turn with Tracy and wound up asking if she saw Willow there that night.

After Tracy had a flashback regarding Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) secret trip to Drew’s house, she admitted she didn’t see Willow.

During Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) own time on the stand, she took responsibility for Willow’s false alibi.

There was another break in the proceedings, which led to Alexis fretting over the traffic cam footage and how to handle what was coming.

Dante took the stand later and testified about Willow being on the traffic cam video, but ADA Turner could only provide time-stamped still shots – not the actual footage.

Alexis fought against the inclusion of the evidence, so the judge sided with her and deemed the photos inadmissible.

Next on Thursday’s GH episode, Alexis played up all the other suspects and tried to make it seem like Dante didn’t want to go after his brother, Michael.

Soon after, ADA Turner called Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) as the next witness for the prosecution.

General Hospital spoilers say Willow’s trial will heat up even more as the week winds down, so stay tuned.
