General Hospital Tuesday, December 30 Recap: Cody & Molly Sizzle, Carly & Valentin Grow Closer

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, December 30, reveals that Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) sizzled in ADA Justine Turner’s (Nazneen Contractor) office while Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) grew closer.

At the Quartermaine stables, Cody had the place decorated with lights for New Year’s Eve and called Molly to confirm their plans, but she was stuck working late in ADA Turner’s office.

After Cody had a “conversation” with a barking Outback, he realized he was giving up too easily and decided to bring the party to Molly instead. Molly was delighted to see Cody, who helped her finish her work quickly so they could focus on their celebration.

Molly danced with Cody as they talked and shared a kiss with him.

Once the fireworks erupted outside, Molly unbuttoned Cody so they could make some private fireworks of their own!

At Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) apartment, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), Giovanni Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) were there to ring in the new year with her.

However, Emma took a call from Cody about Outback needing a dogsitter so she wasn’t alone during the scary fireworks.

Gio took off with Emma, who got him to open up about his complex feelings regarding his violin present once they were in the stables.

Emma gave Gio a pep talk and kissed him under the fireworks once they realized Outback was fine with the noise.

Back with Trina on Tuesday’s GH episode, she leaned on Kai after the hard year she’s faced.

Trina eventually talked about her favorite piece of art and pulled out a framed photo of herself with Kai when they painted together.

Since Trina had taken the photo down during her split from Kai, she sought his help hanging the pic up again.

Outside Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) house, she connected with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) over their unique experience of missing years of their lives.

Lulu spoke about the complicated situation with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and how things were different now.

Nathan also worried about how he’d fit into Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) life once she woke up from her coma.

After Lulu offered Nathan support, they shared their gratitude for each other and seemed to be feeling a bit of a spark before the fireworks kicked off.

Meanwhile, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) headed to Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) place, where they confirmed they wanted to be together and ultimately stripped down for some time between the sheets.

Even if Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) baby ended up belonging to Curtis, he was adamant about sticking with Jordan and getting it right this time around.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) showed up in hopes that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would celebrate her birthday and New Year’s Eve, which was also the anniversary of her fake demise.

Jason didn’t think he’d be good company for Britt, who seemed hurt over the rejection.

Although Jason was frustrated over Britt shutting him out of the mess she was stuck in, he still wanted to help her.

Britt got emotional and eventually admitted life felt less chaotic when she was with Jason, so he wished her a happy birthday and gave her a kiss while the fireworks were going on.

At home, Carly brought up a bottle of bubbly to share with Valentin since Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) left it when he dashed off to work.

Valentin worried about blurred boyfriend lines for Carly, but she remained all in on taking Brennan down.

There was some talk about the Valentin and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) visit that Carly arranged over the holidays.

Valentin thanked Carly and assured her that he wasn’t planning on taking Charlotte away from Lulu or Port Charles.

Valentin also appreciated the way Carly talked to him like a parent and not just a criminal.

Carly suggested she’d been around a lot of criminals who knew how to be parents, too.

Valentin made it clear that he owed Carly for his Christmas Eve Charlotte reunion and added that he honored his debts.

Carly said she was running a tab and left Valentin alone in the attic, but it was obvious they were intrigued by each other.

General Hospital spoilers say Valentin and Carly’s alliance will come with some curveballs, so stay tuned for updates on all the dangerous news to come.
