General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 23, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will have a big Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) reaction while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) delivers his next mission. Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) anger will also explode, so here’s what the ABC soap has in store.
For starters, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will struggle with some guilt when she gets updates on Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) demise.
It’ll leave Britt feeling bad about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) playing the hero in Croatia when he could’ve been home doing some final bonding with Monica.
However, Jason will be at peace with his decision since he was able to step up for Britt and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) when they needed him.
Britt will lend a sympathetic ear anyway, so she’ll spend some time reconnecting with Jason.
The loss of Monica will remain on Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) mind as well, so she’ll get some comfort from Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) on Tuesday’s show.
Meanwhile, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will look like she’s seen a ghost when she spots Nathan in a hospital bed.
Although Felicia will have plenty of questions, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) won’t have all the answers yet during a debriefing session.
Anna will also deliver the news to Nina that Nathan somehow survived – at least according to the fingerprint match they were able to make.
Nina will insist on seeing Nathan for herself, so she’ll get emotional once her eyes are finally on her beloved brother.
Next, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will make an intriguing, hush-hush phone call – one that will presumably set up Erika Slezak’s first appearance as Monica’s long-lost sister before the week’s over.
Martin will also plan on paying Drew another visit, so that’ll raise questions and concerns for Stella Henry (Vernee Watson).
Will Martin confess his agreement with Drew, which cleared up Stella’s legal issues and got her rehired at GH?
In Drew’s hospital room, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will urge him to take advantage of this chance to turn things around.
Monica’s passing came as quite a shock to Drew, but it may not be enough to change him back into a good person!
Drew will give someone a new mission, so Martin may receive his next orders.
This could bring more trouble since it’s doubtful Drew will turn from his wicked ways anytime soon.
As for Portia, she’ll get fed up with Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) behavior.
Portia will blast Curtis for making a decision and not being willing to admit it, so she may think he should confess to wanting Jordan back.
