In tonight’s Sheriff Country episode, the town was suspicious of Skye. Her story didn’t make sense. The murder weapon was missing. Skye even quickly lawyered up. The whole town came to believe she killed Brandon and no one was angrier than the victims’ brothers.

They claimed they wanted justice. What really they wanted revenge. They wanted to harm Skye. They’ve already begun stalking her. They thought and half the town thought that Mickey was covering up a murder that her daughter committed. The other half believed that Mickey shouldn’t be Sheriff.

She had the job locked down two days ago. Right up until her daughter ruined things for her. Skye has been trouble for a few years now and she doesn’t seem to be stopping. She keeps making stupid decisions. She should’ve never gotten involved with a drug dealer in the first place.

She did it for easy access to drugs. It also the added bonus of ticking off her mom. Mickey arrested Brandon. She had a future of arresting Brandon if he lived. He was pure trouble. Its why Mickey didn’t like the relationship and tried to get her daughter to break it off.

Mickey wasn’t dumb. She knew a girl fresh out of rehab hooks up with a drug dealer purely for drugs. It sure wasn’t Brandon’s sparkling personality. He was dumb enough to use his own supply. Now, his family was harassing Skye. They parked in front of her house all hours.

They threw a brick through her window. They followed her into the diner. Mickey was going to get a restraining order against Brandon’s brothers. She also asked her dad to keep an eye on Skye while she went to work. There was an armored truck robbery.

The security guard was maced with blue spray paint. He tried to fire back and he hit a pedestrian. It’s a good thing he only got three shots off. The woman he was the one that owned that car yard. Her name is Heather. Heather did everything right.

She was head cheerleader back in high school and got straight A’s. She still seemed bitter that it wasn’t enough to get her out of Edgewater. Mickey went to school with her. Mickey was known as the girl from Deadwater. The wrong side of town. She was still popular and did just as well at school.

Heather didn’t see the man in white overalls that robbed the armored truck. Nor did she see the others in white overalls. The thief played his robbery smart. He put out an ad online saying he would pay a hundred dollars an hour in return for people painting an empty storefront. Five men answered the ad. They were all given white overalls and a mask. They looked identical in the gear. There was one other guy that was the first to arrive. He was the sixth man and he didn’t speak to anyone.

The other five were eventually caught. They were questioned. They all put the blame on the sixth man. They never saw his face. They couldn’t identify him. It was just the only one that never talked. The men all ran off after they heard gunshots.

The same with a known felon shopping in the nearby 7Eleven. He was detained albeit temporarily. None of them looked good for this. Boone was working this case with Mickey and he found something. He was alerted about a car that got towed around the robbery. And it was registered to Franklin Motors. Tom and Heather Franklin owned it.

From there, Boone started asking around. He found out that the car lot was underwater. Tom and Heather Franklin were looking to sell it. They haven’t gotten any buyers. Boone went to Mickey with what he had. She came to believe like him that a Franklin committed the robbery. He thought it was Tom. She thought it was Heather. She thought maybe the security guard did hit his target that day. She also noticed back at the hospital that Heather was sick of her husband as well as this town. She couldn’t wait to get away.

They brought back the towed car. They waited to see who got in it. It was Tom. Mickey followed her and Boone wanted to arrest her. Mickey pointed out that she was already believed to be dirty. She couldn’t afford to go cowboy on Tom. They had to have probable cause. Tom drove the car into their garage. Boone and Mickey then changed tactics. They turned the couple against each other. They implied the other was leaving town with the money and their lover. They both bought it. Tom even showed them where the money was.

They were in on it together. Both later got arrested. The felon that was arrested for being in the 7Eleven was released and it turns out he was DEA. He doesn’t have a record. He’s not a felon. He was also dating Mickey. Now, Mickey got Cass to stop her father from hurting Brandon’s brothers. He did it his way over just relying on the restraining order and he got the job done without breaking the law.

And then Boone found evidence to get a warrant for Mickey’s place. He didn’t know then what he would find later. It turns out that Skye bought the knife used to kill Brandon. She told her mother that she bought it as a gift. Here was her mother protecting her, but Skye was still holding onto secrets.

THE END!
