The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Friday, July 25, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) shared an LA exit plan while Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) eavesdropped on Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) play for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
At Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester (John McCook) warned Ridge not to waste this chance or he could lose Brooke for the rest of his life.
After Brooke interrupted, she eventually spoke with Ridge alone about him delaying their inevitable reunion.
Brooke played up the idea of them having dinner together in Naples and reconnecting since they still loved each other.
At the Forrester mansion, Taylor pushed Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) to do them both a favor – one that had to do with Brooke.
Taylor urged Nick to keep an eye on Brooke while she was in Italy with Ridge.
It was Taylor’s hope that this business trip would remain strictly a business trip as far as Ridge and Brooke were concerned.
Later, Taylor eavesdropped outside the CEO office, where Brooke insisted Ridge still loved her and always would.
Brooke wanted to hash things out, so Ridge asked if she meant over dinner since she’d been pitching the idea of one earlier.
Although Brooke noted that Nick would be happy to have dinner with her, she made it clear that she’d rather dine with Ridge.
Next on Friday’s B&B episode, Taylor caught up with Brooke in the design office and admitted she overheard Brooke’s latest Ridge play.
However, Taylor reminded Brooke that Ridge was with her now and warned that wasn’t going to change.
No matter what Brooke tried to pull, Taylor was adamant that nothing would interfere in her relationship with Ridge.
At the hospital, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) made phone calls and failed to get in touch with Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech).
Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) joined Finn for a Grace-related discussion since they both still had so many questions.
Finn knew they should all be grateful that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) tumor was cured, but he struggled to understand how Grace pulled this off and why there was so much secrecy.
Since he hadn’t been able to speak with Grace yet, Finn couldn’t get updates from her regarding the procedure or seek any kind of clarifying news.
Later, Finn looked at Liam’s scans on his computer and wondered aloud what really happened to him.
At the Spencer mansion, Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) came to check on Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and saw that Steffy was there.
Although Sheila offered to come back another time, Steffy stopped her from leaving.
That gave Steffy a chance to thank Sheila for looking out for her during all the Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) chaos.
Sheila put her own life on the line to help Steffy, who would never forget it.
As for Liam, Sheila expressed her relief and gratitude over what he did for Steffy, too.
Steffy asked about Sheila’s injured foot, so Sheila held it up and joked about only having eight toes now.
Liam and Steffy were weirded out, but Sheila tried to convince them to laugh about it.
After Sheila left, Steffy told Liam that she wanted to leave town and clear her head for a bit.
Steffy also wanted to take the kids, so Liam was fine with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) going now that he wasn’t running out of time.
Although Steffy got a little choked up over leaving Liam, he offered reassurance as they expressed their love.
