Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, January 19, hint that the CBS soap will move away from the norm, as an ‘Inside the Gates’ special will air with cast members taking a deep dive to discuss all the campy chaos that unraveled during their first season.
The daytime drama will ‘pull back the curtain’ and have a roundtable talk, with all of BTG’s big stars on hand.
The show released a promo earlier this week, giving fans a sneak peek into what to expect.
Main leads Clifton Davis (Vernon Dupree), Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree), Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree), and Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) will all be on hand, as well as most of the other series regulars, as they talk about all the big moments from their first year.
From crazy cons to secrets being revealed, steamy sessions between the sheets, and other drama: BTG stars will re-live all the crazy moments from Season 1, and fans will get a different view of all the arcs that unraveled from the actors and actresses who brought these stories to life.
In addition to Tunie, Davis, and Mosley, Duplaix, the preview shows Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill Hamilton) present on the special, as well as, Marquita Goings (Hayley Hamilton).
Plus, Keith D. Robinson (Ted Richardson) will be there, Trisha Mann-Grant (Leslie Thomas), Arielle Prepetit (Naomi Hawthorne), RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea Hamilton), Colby Natasha Nixon (Katherine “Kat” Richardson), Mike Manning (Bradley “Smitty” Smith), and Brandon Claybon (Martin Richardson).
Fans may also see other series regulars, so it’ll be interesting to witness everyone’s insights out of character as they chat about their Fairmont Crest alter egos!
The preview showcases two major storylines that will be talked about; however, others will likely be discussed, too.
The first one shown in this week’s BTG promo is Dani’s “wild child” behavior, and over-the-top reactions she had leading up to (and during) Bill’s wedding to Hayley.
In addition, Martin and Vernon’s secret will be profiled – the attack the granddad and grandson endured many years ago on the side of the road, at the hands of Kenny (Jason Vendryes) and his brother.
Beyond the Gates spoilers imply that the Monday, January 19 episode will offer OG fans an opportunity to reflect on the past, and new BTG viewers a chance to fully catch up on storylines – so it’ll be a must-see show, for sure!
