In tonight’s Big Brother episode, Kamu was HOH this week. He nominated Lala, Mallory, and Lyric for eviction. He was hoping to backdoor Jason. It’s why he reassured Jason that he wasn’t going to be nominated on the Sunday.
Yet, Jason knew better than to trust anyone in the house. He got burned because of Rome last week. He knew he could no longer trust Angela because he burned her and so Kamu’s lies easily washed off. Jason has been trying to be a guy’s guy because he let out his inner diva on a different reality show. And now he realizes that maybe he has to bring out Selena the alter ego.
There was a strong alliance at the start of the season. Now, that same alliance was falling apart. It was falling apart because of fence-sitters and Angela. Angela was a serious problem. She couldn’t protect herself in that house because her mouth has a mind of its own. She constantly blows up other people’s games. She’s trying to do the same to Drew. It just wasn’t the week for it.
Drew was properly insulated with Kamu as HOH. The two were proving to be good friends. Kamu didn’t even hold Drew’s emerging showmance with Melody against him.
Then again Kamu can’t talk about that situation because of his closeness to Lyric. Lyric moved on from Rome. She now feels that she has a deep connection with Kamu. They were both from Hawaii.
Lyric was also hanging out a lot with Chuk. Whoever flirts back first will probably be her new boo. It’s funny because Drew noticed that too. Drew was gossiping in the house and he said that Lyric confused “Big Brother” with “Love Island”. Drew observes more than people realized. There’s a chance he knows that Angela is gunning for him.
Anyways, Lyric was Kamu’s pawn this week. He doesn’t want her to stay on the block. He fooled no one because Jason knew right away that he’s the target. Jason spotted Devens’s move from just last week.
He knew a backdoor was coming. He doesn’t trust Kamu. Their side of the house doesn’t trust Kamu. Kamu also has a big mouth too. He was telling all of the nominees that they weren’t targets. He said Jason was his biggest target so far. Lala been knew because Jason already told her that was the plan.
Jason tried to sure up their side of the house. The ones that weren’t in the majority. They were on the block this week. They were going to get picked off until one of them eventually won HOH. It can happen at any time. It wasn’t happening this week though. What was happening was that Devens won an advantage in the BB Time Capsule. He only told Dee about it because that’s who he most trusts in the house. Dee kept her word and she didn’t tell anyone even as Angela figured out that Devens won.
Angela was no fool. She occasionally gets overemotional. She still knew when someone was lying to her and she figured out that Devens was keeping this secret. She wasn’t mad about it.
She actually thought that was smart game play. It was much better than whatever Kamu was up to. Kamu kept trying not to be the bad guy and someone had to tell him that he wasn’t getting away it this week. There’s going to be blood on his hands. This wasn’t like with Dee when she sent off Ashley. Ashley had no allies.
Devens got to escape from the Rome drama because Jason had been outed as a great manipulator. Jason tells people what they want to hear and not anywhere near the truth. Hell, Jason was in an alliance with Melody and Drew. Both of whom betrayed his trust in them. Drew already did that and now Melody was doing it as well.
She told Kamu everything that Jason told her. This included his deal with each of the nominees this week. Kamu was now sitting on that information so he especially hated it when Lala later chose Jason to compete in the Veto comp.
There he was trying to backdoor the guy when Lala pulled that stunt. Kamu got lucky in that he was able to defeat Jason later on in the comp. Only he was never going to safeguard Lala anyways.
He’s been telling people that others have said she’s the biggest threat in the house after Jason. He’s tried to turn Jason against her. Kamu thought he was being slick when he really wasn’t. The person who won Veto was neither Jason nor Kamu. It ended up being Lyric. Lyric beat out her friend Mallory for that power.
Lyric was naturally going to use Veto to take herself off the block. Kamu may have promised her that she was a pawn, but she didn’t believe in that promise. Not when he’s already gone back on his word with her. The same goes for Jason. Jason knew he was the renomination long before the ceremony.
He tried to play all sides and they all ratted on him. He was too messy of player. The whole house later tried to have a tea party. It was supposed to be something nice and sweet where they didn’t have to worry about what came next. Kamu used that party to openly call out Jason.
It wasn’t the time or the place. They were all ignoring the elephant in the room to have fun. Why did Kamu have to ruin it? Also, why did Jason tell anyone that he was trying to take out the icons?
It came out and just as Angela was close to forgiving him. It got awkward super-fast. Jason may be the villain only Kamu didn’t come out of the argument looking good either. Dee even said he came across as messy too.
Jason had the upper hand when he decided to go for pure entertainment. Jason grabbed a teapot from the kitchen so that he could bang on it whenever two or more gather.
He said Kamu wanted to know everything – here’s how he’ll know. Jason also came up with a funny limerick for him and the teapot he kept banging. Jason was blowing up his own game doing that.
It actually reassured Mallory and Lala that they were safe for now. They weren’t threats with Jason in the house. And that’s why Jason was now the new nominee.
