The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 31, reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will share some tough news while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) make an important choice together.
Now that Nikki’s vision is coming back, she’s feeling hopeful about the future again.
However, things are still a bit up in the air when it comes to Victor and Nikki’s marriage, so they need to discuss what’s next.
Nikki and Victor will ultimately be on the same page about wiping the slate clean.
There’s been more than enough pain and anger, so Victor and Nikki will want to embrace joy and gratitude instead.
While Victor and Nikki agree to a new beginning,
Y&R spoilers say Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will hope for a fresh start with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) as well.
Of course, Matt is interested in Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) romantically at this point, but he’ll still hope to find redemption with Sienna and maybe even be her friend.
Sienna may admit she believes Matt’s transformation is authentic, but Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) certainly doesn’t.
In fact, Noah is determined to force Matt’s Genoa City departure, so Sienna might warn her ex about that soon enough.
As for Noah, he may vent to Sharon about Sienna thinking Matt has changed and the risk that poses.
Noah may reiterate that the best solution is to push Matt out of GC permanently.
Sharon will eventually tell Noah about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) checking in rehab, so Noah will realize his dad’s really been struggling.
It’ll be devastating to think about Nick drowning in drug addiction drama, but at least he’s admitted he needs more help.
In the end, Noah and Sharon may agree rehab is the best place for Nick right now.
Once Noah finds out about Nikki’s sight returning, that’ll be something that can lift his spirits.
Unfortunately, more trouble could be brewing if Noah catches Matt hanging around Sienna again.
