Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Arianne Zucker (ex-Nicole Walker) recently had to bid farewell to someone special.
On Instagram, Zucker shared that her beloved father, Barry Zucker, passed away last week and included a pic of them together.
In Zucker’s post, she acknowledged that the loss made an already challenging year even more difficult.
It’s clear that Zucker adored her dad and all the things that made him unique.
“It’s been a tough year and last week was even harder. I had to say goodbye to my wonderful father. He loved his family, he loved to go house boating, he loved animals and he loved @thebeachboys I’m going to miss you Pop pop!” Zucker said.
Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel Jonas), who is Arianne Zucker’s husband and a fellow Days alum, also shared some sweet words about her dad.
“We’ve shared some great memories with Father…Beach Boys is so appropriate for his beach Livin’ spirit…He will be with us always. We love ya Barry!” Christian said in the comments.
Of course, Zucker got plenty of support from other former Days castmates as well.
There were messages of love from Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis), Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera, Patty Williams on The Young and the Restless), Martha Madison (Belle Black), Tamara Braun (ex-Ava Vitali, Sienna Bacall on Y&R), Eric Martsolf (Brady Black) and more.
It’s always hard to lose someone who holds such a significant place in your life, so our hearts go out to Arianne Zucker during this tough time.
As for what’s been happening in Salem, Nicole was actually mentioned in the July 2 episode.
Tate Black (Leo Howard) told Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) that her mom had just flown into the airport, but Nicole’s latest visit to Salem will apparently be off-screen.
That’s not ideal, but at least Days writers are still including Nicole in the story and acknowledging that she’s worried about her daughter.
Holly will get some love from her mom, even if DOOL fans won’t get to witness any actual Nicole scenes.
