Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 17 and August 28, reveal that one Salemite won’t live much longer.
There’ll also be some hospital chaos and some catch-up sessions, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
During the week of August 17-21, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will face more of Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) pressure to turn on EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) if she wants full immunity.
Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will hear what Rafe’s proposing, so we’ll see if a deal can be reached.
In Alamainia, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will push Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) to prove his love by letting Leo walk free.
It looks like Dimitri will finally cave in since Leo will make his way back to Salem for a reunion with Gwen.
Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) will flip out while Leo’s gone and leave Gus (Michael Ocampo) questioning their own romance.
Gus and Javi are obviously on the verge of a break-up, so Gus may dump him for being stuck on his ex.
Next, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) will play Cupid.
It looks like Tate and Holly will try to pair Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) up with Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia) since they’ve obviously been growing closer.
Aaron recently planted a kiss on Ari, so they’ve been moving out of the friend zone.
When Ari and Aaron get put on Trey DiMera (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue) babysitting duty, that’ll bring another opportunity for them to connect.
Other Days spoilers say Foster (Miles Anderson) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will lock lips for the first time, so we’ll see how they feel about that in the aftermath.
At the hospital, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) will be admitted, but there won’t be any way for the doctors to improve her condition.
Days fans can expect Lexie to fade fast as Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) look on helplessly.
Lexie will finally take her last breath as Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) baby enters the world.
DOOL will intentionally offer a bittersweet situation where Lexie’s dying at the same time as Chanel’s giving birth.
Sadly, Chanel’s delivery will take a horrifying turn in the end. There’ll be a scare that leaves Chanel’s life on the line and possibly the baby’s, too.
Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will also face some tough news since Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will admit she could wind up paralyzed because of her spinal stenosis.
As for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), they’ll declare their love for each other and level up their romance.
After Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gets drawn into all the chessboard intrigue, she may decide she’s done fighting this and genuinely throw herself into solving the mystery.
Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will have some help once Marlena is following the clues along with them.
Once Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) makes another plea to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) for the $5 million buy-in, she may cave and give him the money for his high-stakes poker game.
That could send Philip and Gabi to Monte Carlo as the week of August 24-28 gets underway.
Will Philip win or lose the gamble he’s about to take? Could there be some alternative that presents itself and stops his buy-in?
Regardless, there’s a good chance Titan will be saved along with the Kiriakis mansion in the end.
It’s tough to believe Days will let Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) legacy crumble – at least not for long.
As for Javi, he’ll reunite with Leo in more ways than one.
It looks like Javi will find Leo following his Alamainia trip and admit he’s still in love with him, so they may share a celebratory kiss once they’re back together.
Finally, Abe and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) may offer mutual comfort.
Paulina will be worried sick about Chanel’s medical complications, so Abe should support her and get comfort over Lexie’s demise as well.
