Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of August 24-28 reveal that it’ll be time for a final farewell to one Salemite.
There’ll also be some gambling drama along with the reunion of two characters who have been apart for too long!
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) can tell Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) is still in love with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), so he’s been trying to convince Javi of that.
Despite Javi’s previous insistence that his chapter with Leo was over, that won’t be the case for much longer.
Javi clearly used Gus (Michael Ocampo) as some sort of comforting safety net following his split from Leo.
Once Javi accepts the truth and realizes his relationship with Gus isn’t meant to last, he’ll be ready to reunite with Leo.
Although Javi may still be a little cautious with his heart, he’ll know Leo is his person and will make that clear to him soon enough.
As for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), she should be relieved to see Leo back in Salem and free from Dimitri von Leuscnher (Peter Porte).
Marlena was concerned when she found out Leo chose to stay in Alamainia, but she doesn’t have all the facts.
Leo actually sacrificed himself for Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) sake, but then he convinced Dimitri to let him go home.
Dimitri is now trying to be a better person like Leo, so Leo may pass that good news along to Dr. Evans.
Over with Foster (Miles Anderson) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), they’ll give locking lips another try.
Foster’s previous attempt to kiss Julie was interrupted by JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), but Days spoilers confirm their actual first kiss is still to come.
In the aftermath of Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) demise, Days spoilers say Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will need some comfort.
Will Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) be the one Theo leans on?
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will have to mourn this tough loss as well, so Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) may step up for him in his time of grief.
Funeral arrangements will have to be made for Lexie at some point, so that’ll be something else for Theo and Abe to worry about in their despair.
Abe and Theo may ultimately settle on a small memorial service as they plan a final goodbye.
Of course, Days spoilers say Theo and Abe will also fret over Chanel DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) labor going wrong.
There’ll be a lot of blood and some scary moments, so Abe may end up consoling Paulina through a crisis of her own.
Finally, DOOL fans will learn the outcome of Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) high-stakes poker game now that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) has agreed to give him the $5 million buy-in.
Will Philip pull off the huge victory he’s hoping for and save Titan along with the Kiriakis mansion?
