Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of January 5-9 reveals that fans will see Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) tackle a mystery while Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) faces a romantic dilemma and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) unleashes her fury.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will watch the ball drop on TV with Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) while Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has her own private evening with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), which will take a hot turn behind closed doors.
As for Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte), Leo will struggle to get over the shock of seeing him in the town square.
That’s where Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) will officially meet Dimitri and learn Leo’s ex still wants him.
Although Javi will end up in tears and worry he’s going to lose his new husband, Leo will get some advice from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and offer Javi some proof of his love.
Since the paperwork isn’t official yet, Leo might make sure it goes through and show Javi that he’s serious about this marriage.
Then again, Leo might have some grand gesture in mind that’ll touch Javi’s heart.
Over with Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien), Days spoilers say she’ll have a tough time navigating the fallout of releasing Dimitri and reintroducing him to Salem.
Gwen helped make Dimitri go away with EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) help and may ultimately regret making this return happen when Dimitri gains a big advantage over her.
Over with Rafe and Jada, they’ll put their heads together on a case.
That could involve Dimitri’s DOOL comeback and all the questions that come with it.
As for Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews), he’ll regain consciousness in a hospital bed and hear everything he’s missed.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will be relieved to know Theo’s finally awake.
However, bad news could be headed Theo’s way when he realizes there’s a big push for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) to remain in the DiMera CEO seat instead of him.
Of course, that could change once Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) carry out her secret plan.
It’ll start with some unfortunate updates for Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) regarding her book, which will pave the way for Kate’s manipulation of Johnny.
The stalker will record a video of Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) making out, but the newly engaged couple will have a huge fight later following some drama at Titan.
While Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) lock in some romantic plans, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will react to Peter Blake’s (Dan Gauthier) wake-up call and wild outburst from his hospital room.
Days spoilers say Kristen will later make a pitch to Rafe, so we’ll see how that might tie in with Peter.
While Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) digs her heels in when it comes to keeping her baby.
Xander will be busy lashing out at Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) across town.
After Xander fires Brady, Days spoilers say Brady will assume this is really about Sarah.
Maggie will assume that too when she confronts Xander later and puts him on full blast.
Next, Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will make a pact to help each other with a romantic fresh start in 2026.
It sounds like Chad will take Belle out on a date and could perhaps get passionate with her before the night’s over.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll become more than a one-time deal, but Chad and Belle will have a chance to distract themselves from any lingering feelings for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Belle and Chad will at least get some temporary relief, so stay tuned.
