Days of Our Lives (DOOL) update for the week of September 7-11 indicates that someone new will step into the role of a DiMera who’ll feature prominently in some major storylines.
There’ll also be a romantic outing that goes wrong.
In addition, Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Belle Black’s (Martha Madison) time in Italy will bring them closer to the big picture.
First, let’s talk about Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) since he won’t be able to shake the feeling that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is part of more cover-ups for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerreigel).
Johnny will have a clandestine meeting with George O’Halloran (Michael Rose) as he tries to figure out how to get out of this whole EJ mess and save his marriage to Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens).
As for EJ, he’ll get Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) back on the phone and hope she’s made some progress finding Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) ring.
In reality, Rita already found it and is keeping that news a secret from EJ.
That could mean Rita has found someone else to pledge her loyalty to.
DOOL fans will eventually see a mysterious male character with Stefano’s ring on his finger, so Rita may give it to him instead.
Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will deal with growing concerns about EJ and will land on the hot seat with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) as well.
Next, Days spoilers say Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will have yet another memory flash that leaves her worried about Belle and Chad’s investigation.
Chad and Belle are on the verge of uncovering a stunning clue in Italy, but they’ll also take a break and strip down for some passion at the hotel.
Although Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will enjoy some time in bed with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf as well, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) won’t be far from her mind and heart.
Now that Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) has settled back in town, Days spoilers say Xander will use her as a confidant.
Between pining for Sarah and all the Titan drama, Xander will have a lot to get off his chest.
Speaking of Titan drama, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will remain committed to scoring a major poker victory in Monte Carlo.
It could be the key to saving both the company and the Kiriakis estate, but someone shocking may become an obstacle.
Sydney Malakeh’s first appearance as a Sydney DiMera recast is coming up on September 9.
Days spoilers say Sydney will catch Philip and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) off guard with her poker game involvement, so she may be an expert player and a real threat.
As for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), she’ll have a venting session with Leo.
Cat will do the same with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so plenty of complaints will get tossed around.
Over with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), her demand for Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) to stay at least 10 feet away from Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase) will cause friction.
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will find it excessive along with a horrified Stephanie.
Afterward, Joy’s spinal stenosis will bring some terrifying moments. As Joy’s condition declines, she’ll lean on Alex for the comfort she’s craving.
Although Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) will try to have some fun on a picnic, things won’t go according to plan.
Holly will flip out over something she spots on her phone, so we’ll see if this involves Mason Whitfield’s (Brandon Butler) reason issue with her or something else.
