On tonight’s FBI episode, OA was still undercover with Anna Vorpe. Her merry team of lawbreakers continued their reign of terror. They did off the books missions for the American government. Yet, they weren’t CIA. CIA has to either work with the FBI operating on American soil or work overseas without oversight. There was no middle ground with them.

Anna’s people merely did whatever they wanted and answered to no one because they were heavily protected by people in power. They were breaking laws. They were killing people. They were forcing the government to go along with them and so OA went in undercover to finally take them down.

In the meantime, the FBI had to carry on like nothing happened. This goes for Maggie as well. She got a new partner. His name is Isaiah. He was the ADIC’s nephew. The same guy that fired OA and that’s why the team was reluctant to trust him. It was one thing being the new guy. Did the ADIC really have to replace OA with his own nephew?

It smelled of conspiracy. It was as if he only gotten rid of OA to make room for a family member and that might matter in case of a change in administration.

There was nothing personally wrong with Isaiah. He seemed like a nice guy. He wanted to get to know Maggie. He might even like to drive sometimes, but she doesn’t trust him nor was she going to let him in her circle of trust as long as there was a possibility of OA coming back. Their case tonight involved a murder in a national park.

The victim was Clara Brooks. She was twenty-one. From Alabama. She was pursuing a career as a travel influencer because she loved to travel and its what she did with her parents. She also thought she was safe because she was traveling with her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend was a girl-beating jerk. He just didn’t kill her. He was four miles away when she died and he ran when he found her body because he knew they’d think he was responsible. All that did was waste their time as the feds were so busy tracking him down that they almost missed a threat to national security.

They soon cleared Jeff the boyfriend because he did in fact have evidence clearing his name. He also pointed out that both he and Clara wore trackers. Clara’s tracker showed she took a hike by herself right before her murder and that she saw something right before running for her life.

Unfortunately, Clara had watched a team disposing a body. The body was that of Alex Rubell. He seemed like air-conditioner expert until they tracked down his friend and the last person he was in communication with. His friend was Dominick Ballaci. He appeared to be a florist until he told them that they risked his cover by coming to his shop. He tried to turn the FBI away when another team moved in and bombed him. Dominick lived long enough to say ask Scola to protect Project Jehovah. No one had heard of it until Jubal’s CIA friends told them it was a special access program.

Governmental. It was a nuclear deterrent program. It was top secret and not even the senators knew about it. It was just the Department of Defense that knew. The CIA was overseeing it. Jubal was warned that those two nondescript guys were actually nuclear physicists. They were a part of the secret program and their names have never been made public. The only way someone knew to target both was if there was a leak? Jubal was warned to get to the man leading the program before anymore could be harmed.

The man leading the program was Cameron Caleo. Caleo was found at his undercover job. Maggie and Isaiah were moving him when they got hit by Anna Vorpe’s people. They grabbed the physicist

. OA beat the living daylights out of Isaiah. He was also forced to hit Maggie to cover up their part in the abduction of an American. OA has been chaffing with his undercover role. He took a chance to get information from Caleo before the others could. And he passed it onto Maggie and Isobel.

Caleo didn’t betray his country. He was merely a fool in love. His girlfriend was Laney Choi. She was Korean. She grew up in South Korea or so she claimed and she admitted that her birth parents were still in North Korea. She was the only one with access to Caleo’s computer. The one he safely guarded against everyone other than her because again – fool for love. Laney did this for her parents and OA told Maggie about it. Isobel informed the rest of the team about the possible leak. They sought out Laney.

It was Laney who made a choice. The choice was never Caleo. She escaped from the FBI with the North Koreans. They pursued her. They shot an FBI Pilot.

Isaiah saved the helicopter from crashing by flying the thing. He knew that Maggie had talked with the perp back at the scene. He chose to ignore it because he trusts her. He asked her in exchange that she trust him back. The FBI got Laney arrested. She was still going on about them getting her parents killed. And she failed to consider the now three men dead because of her.

Caleo killed himself in custody. OA thought his death would be it. He’d have enough evidence against Anna and Isobel had to break the bad news. She confessed this wasn’t going to be enough. He had to stay undercover. There was no other choice in the matter. And it seems someone might’ve followed him to the meeting with Isobel.

THE END!
