In tonight’s FBI episode, not everyone thinks it through in a moment of a crisis. There was one man tonight who ran when he found his girlfriend brutally murdered in their home.

He had been knocked out and rather than try to prove he was unconscious during the murder – he ran. He actually did a little more than run. He went on to steal a car. He thought it was empty. It hadn’t been. There was a six month old baby sleeping in the backseat named Hadly Kuo. His mom Jennifer had stepped away from the car for a moment to take a phone call.

The car had been in her driveway. She didn’t think she needed to lock it with her right there. Her son was only in the car because Jennifer had taken him on a drive. It was one of the few ways to put him to sleep.

Jennifer hadn’t wanted to disturb him once she did get him down. If Hadley hadn’t been abducted, she would’ve talked about sleepless nights at his graduation. She just wanted back now. She didn’t need the funny story. She said the man that took her son had been covered in blood. It helped the FBI determined that the kidnapper was also wanted in a homicide.

They connected the man with the murder of Amanda Murray. They even found his blood on a fence from where he cut it by trying to jump over it. The DNA was in the system. It came back as Isaiah Green.

FBI Special Agent Isaiah Green. His uncle was ADIC. They had to inform him. They offered to keep the investigation quiet until they found credible evidence and his uncle turned down their kind offer. He said they treat him like any other suspect. Follow the evidence. The evidence was showing that Isaiah killed Amanda.

Amanda was his ex-fiancé. The whole family thought they’d be married by now. They were all set to get serious and Amanda broke things off. They later tracked the stolen car to the home of Austin Brown.

Brown was Amanda’s current boyfriend. Some suspect that she might’ve left Isaiah for Brown. They went to this home to warn him and that’s when they learn that Isaiah had already been there. Isaiah didn’t kill Amanda. He wanted to prove that by investigating her murder himself. Maggie figured that out. OA didn’t know Isaiah as well.

OA was changed by his time away. He was undercover for so many months that it was bound to happen. OA refused to promise Jennifer that they’d reunite her with her baby. He said he promised to get someone out once before. It didn’t work out that way. He refuses to be all talk and no cattle. His girlfriend Zara has been helping him. She was also with the FBI. She was working the call line in case the kidnapper made a ransom demand. Maggie knew that no demand was coming in. Not from Isaiah.

Isaiah was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder. It developed in the trauma from his broken relationship. Or at least that’s what the psychiatrist thought happened. Isaiah was supposed to be on medication. He stopped it a month ago. He was an unmedicated bipolar man with a gun. It was therefore surprising he never used his weapon. He allegedly stopped taking the meds because they were making his hands shake. He couldn’t afford that in the field as a federal agent. He also failed to report his condition to his bosses when they’re supposed to update them on this exact situation.

Maggie followed the evidence. Brown thought Amanda was cheating on him with a guy from work. They found out that Isaiah had showed up at their work office looking for the guy. He didn’t find him. He ran from the feds when they tried to stop him. He managed to escape just long enough to later be found crouching over his suspect’s dead body. That time he was arrested. He didn’t have the baby with him. They got him to his hospital to deal with his manic state. They asked him about a baby and he had no clue what they were talking about.

He doesn’t remember a baby. He has flashes of things he’s seen. He claimed he wasn’t alone at Corey Oden’s apartment. He swore someone else was there at the time. They checked and they found no evidence of this third person. It was only Maggie who still believed Isaiah was innocent. They worked together for three months. She kept him at a distance for the majority of it. OA pointed that out and she said if she hadn’t then maybe she would know about his condition. She could’ve helped him.

One of the things that Isaiah does remember was that Amanda told him she was scared. She scared of someone at work. She was a VP at Sovereign Rocketry. Oden was in the same department as her. They found a flaw in their rocket right before it was going to launch into space and into an IPO. There was a third member of their team. It was Serena Cambridge. She was perfectly alright. She also had an alibi for the murders. It just didn’t stop her from trying to destroy evidence in the final hour.

Serena was involved in the conspiracy to commit murder. She and her boyfriend found out they were going to lose millions because of the flaw in the rockets. The same flaw that sunk a submarine seeking Titanic. Amanda was going to report it as the emergency meeting before the IPO. She was going to tell the big boss everything. The billionaire surprisingly hadn’t known about the coverup or the murders. Sorenson was telling the feds that his bodyguard also knew about the emergency meeting when that guard killed him in full view.

He tried to run. OA shot the guard. He killed three people for money yet he doesn’t believe he’s the bad guy. He was arrested and he was being sent to the hospital for treatment. Isaiah meanwhile broke out of the hospital. He tried to find the baby. He couldn’t remember. He spoke through it with his uncle. The smell of the flowers was from a daycare. Isaiah dropped Hadley off at a daycare center run by an old family friend. Hadley was later reunited with his very happy parents. And Isaiah finally admitted he needed help.

Maggie never once doubted him. She was beginning to doubt OA. OA wouldn’t discuss his feelings and it was scaring her. She didn’t want to miss a crucial detail for a second time. Isaiah thankfully still has his uncle. The ADIC promised to stand by him. He was going to help him seek treatment. Isaiah was blaming himself for Amanda’s death. He couldn’t protect the one he loved when it mattered. And that was going to sit with him for a while.

THE END!
