General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one former ABC soap star is struggling with the sudden loss of a family member. On Instagram, Eva LaRue (ex-Natalia Ramirez on GH, ex-Celeste Rosales on The Young and the Restless) shared that her brother, Louie, has passed away at the age of 40.
“I’ve been avoiding making this post, because somehow, putting it into words, makes it real. I’m not ready to accept that someone so full of life, with so much more life to live, is suddenly gone at only 40 years old. I cannot wrap my head around it, I feel utterly broken,” LaRue said.
Although LaRue is clearly crushed over losing her brother too soon, she posted a beautiful tribute.
LaRue reflected on the way Louie always lit up a room and brought positive energy to those around him.
Louie had “infectious joy” and was someone LaRue considered her champion. LaRue insisted that he was “one of the fiercest, most loyal people” she’s ever known.
Although LaRue has faced some scary times in her life, she praised Louis for repeatedly showing up for her.
“No hesitation. No questions. Just love in action. That’s who Loo was, he was the ‘ride or die’ for the people he loved,” LaRue said.
Eva LaRue also shared that Louie was both a dreamer and a doer.
Louie was a rapper, a food influencer and the “unofficial King of Long Beach” according to LaRue’s sweet comments.
It’s clear that Louie was funny, loyal and someone very special to those who loved him.
Although LaRue is now struggling to imagine a world without Louie in it, she’s grateful for the time they had together.
“I was so incredibly lucky to be your sister Louie. I desperately wish I could have one more hug, one more laugh, one more moment-but I know you’re needed elsewhere- Heaven needs a new entertainment director and you’re the best in the business,” LaRue said.
As LaRue wrapped up her post, she suggested that their dad was waiting to welcome Louie home.
LaRue indicated that nothing could ever fill the void in her heart, but she urged Louie to “rest in love” and looked forward to seeing his smile again one day.
