General Hospital spoilers for July 17 reveal that Carly will set boundaries for Sonny, but it sounds like the mob boss will disregard her feelings.
As fans know, Valentin tampered with Sonny’s bipolar meds years ago, and it rubs him the wrong way that Carly is seeing the man.
Added GH teasers reveal that Sonny will solicit the services of his right-hand man, Brick, and the two will come up with a plan to sabotage Carly and Valentin’s romance.
In the Friday promo video, Brick has a trick up his sleeve as he’s seen telling Sonny, “No worries, I think I can help with this.”
Brick will be all-in to ransack Carly’s new relationship, so what happens next?
Speaking of Valentin, it sounds like he’ll make his feelings clear to Carly.
While Valentin and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) once shared a steamy romance, and the man still does care for his superspy ex, he is smitten with Carly, and he’ll let her know that.
In the July 17 preview, he’s in Carly’s kitchen asking her, “Are you concerned about how I feel now that Anna is back in town?”
Valentin will work hard to put Carly’s fears to rest about Anna, so viewers should expect some steamy action between these two.
Elsewhere, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will sizzle.
While these two have been known to banter back and forth lately as they attempt to find Brennan’s black box, Nina will open up to the WSB Chief.
It sounds like a bonding session between Brennan and Nina as they navigate toward a romance.
Over at the hospital, GH spoilers for Friday’s show reveal that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will get a visit from Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Trina will have a ton to update her BFF on: from her new baby brother to her music contract signing, but the big question is, will Joss let her know about her WSB agent status?
Joss is in the hospital because she got shot, so she’ll have some explaining to do, but it sounds like she’ll continue to keep Trina out of the loop where her superspy life is concerned.
Joss is shown in the General Hospital promo for July 17 telling Trina, “There’s a simple answer, but the reasons behind it are complicated.”
Meanwhile, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) issues a warning to Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean).
The two siblings will be out enjoying a drink. From the looks of it, Ethan will talk about his time with Ava in the gallery when he got shot.
In the GH’s Friday preview, Lulu looks shocked as she asks her brother, “Are you interested in Ava Jerome?”
Lulu knows the stories about Ava and will strongly advise Ethan to stay far away, but that doesn’t mean he’ll listen.
Lastly, Ava will encounter BLQ on Friday’s show as she’ll visit the Quartermaine mansion for one reason or another.
Ava was part of Alexis Davis’s (Nancy Lee Grahn) NYC investigation into Baby Phoebe’s daddy because of her connections to the art world.
Brook Lynn will outright ask Ava during the July 17 episode if she knows who Phoebe’s father is.
General Hospital spoilers imply that, as Ethan admitted he wasn’t the child’s daddy, Ava won’t be lying when she tells Brook Lynn, “no”, but she may have conflicted feelings about not telling the adoptive mom the entire story she knows.
