General Hospital recap for Friday, October 16, reveals that Jude (Wil Traval) was immediately drawn to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as he made his first appearance in Port Charles.
Quinn (Jequan Jackson) also caught Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) off guard with an unexpected move, so let’s talk about all Friday’s action.
When Trina had trouble starting her car after work, Quinn popped up and claimed he liked the coffee shop nearby.
Quinn convinced Trina to let him take her home, but then he missed her exit and said he needed to stop by his sister’s place.
Trina seemed uneasy, but she agreed to meet Quinn’s sister when he brought up the idea.
Quinn eventually took Trina inside, where things took another disturbing turn since the place looked all romantic with candles and petals.
When an anxious Trina asked Quinn what all this was, he smiled and asked if she liked it.
Over with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), she pressured a very reluctant Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) to dupe Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) into signing over Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) Deception proxy.
At Brown Dog Bar, several GH staff members showed up for a hangout, but Britt struggled to fit in with the group.
Although Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) was supposed to meet Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) at the bar, he wound up sticking around Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house when Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) showed up looking for advice.
Ric decided to represent Lulu in her libel case and felt that she should call Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bluff.
The hope was that Willow would drop the lawsuit once she found out Ric was Lulu’s lawyer and that they were taking this to court.
Back at the bar, Britt had a run-in with Jason and blew up at him before Serena dragged him away to deal with a fake Deception crisis.
Jason refused to sign anything without looking it over and went back to the office with Serena, where he remained suspicious over her news and the document.
At the bar again, Britt took jabs at Liz by bringing up Ric’s shady past, so Liz took jabs right back.
Since Britt refused to leave, the GH staff party moved to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and Joe Fitzpatrick’s (Jonathan Bennett) apartment instead.
Joe, Lucas, Elizabeth, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) all took off, so a mystery man was intrigued over Britt driving them away.
That mystery man bought Britt a drink and took the seat next to her, so fans got their first introduction to Jude.
Jude had an Australian accent as he confessed that he’d never seen a woman clear out a room so fast, which made him want to meet Britt.
At Aurora’s wellness center, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) arrived.
That led to the pair overhearing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) trashing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).
Once Gio left the room, Emma put Josslyn on full blast for not being respectful of Gio’s feelings.
Josslyn bickered with Emma, who mocked the nepo baby for trading her role as WSB Barbie for CEO Barbie.
After Emma and Gio left, Josslyn explained her complicated history with Emma to Hudson.
As for Gio, he admitted to Emma that his first instinct was to defend Sonny earlier, so he considered whether he should believe his grandpa about what happened at Pentonville.
