General Hospital (GH) update for Friday, October 9, indicates that Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) attempt to get to the bottom of things won’t pan out.
Also, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will also have a rather frosty exchange with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will repay a friend as well, so let’s talk about what’s in store on the ABC soap.
At GH, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) will have a tense interaction with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) about changing plans.
Sidwell might taunt Isaiah about Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) injuries and act like his prison trouble could bring him closer to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
It looks like Britt may come to Isaiah’s rescue by offering support.
Britt and Isaiah are becoming trusted confidants, so it’ll be her opportunity to repay him for listening to her vent recently.
As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll offer clarity on her devotion.
Portia may want Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) to understand that Isaiah is part of the package and deserves a spot in Desmond Ashford’s life, even if he’s not the bio dad.
In Curtis’s hospital room, he may question why Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) is trying to represent Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) boyfriend when they’re estranged sisters.
Since Monet is just now mentioning this sister connection, Curtis may find that suspicious, too.
However, Money may argue that she knew Jordan would underestimate her skills and try to stop her from representing Curtis.
Monet truly believes she can make a difference when it comes to Curtis’ appeal, so she may push him to leave Jordan in the dark on their arrangement for now.
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will stand by his belief in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) innocence despite the awful article Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) published.
Chase will reiterate that he’s going to help Willow fight back and work to convince her that his plan is a good one.
This may involve the defamation suit that we know is brewing thanks to fall preview spoilers.
On another note, Gio will tell Sonny that he’s moving out of his grandfather’s house.
Although Gio truly wants to take the next step with Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner), this is really happening because he believes Sonny is behind the Pentonville attacks.
Once Sonny receives that news, he’ll be hurt over Gio taking Dante’s side.
Gio may confess that he can’t shake the feeling that Sonny is lying and that he’s just trying to cover his own tracks.
Despite Sonny’s attempt to blame Gio’s stance on Dante, Gio will make it clear that he’s responsible for his own choices.
Gio is choosing to go with his gut and move out since he thinks Sonny’s actions hurt Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) dad.
Although Sonny will be disappointed, it looks like he’ll mostly be understanding of Gio’s decision in the end.
As for Dante, his investigation won’t go according to plan.
Dante knows there’s a conflict of interest here, but that apparently won’t stop him from looking deeper into this case involving Sonny.
Dante’s going to do some digging, but his efforts will come with some hurdles.
General Hospital spoilers say Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may ultimately weigh in on this Sonny situation, so stay tuned for her thoughts on the matter.
