General Hospital Monday, April 27 Recap: Obrecht Threatens Josslyn – Cullum & Sidwell On Valentin’s Trail

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, April 27, reveals that James West (Gary James Fuller) put “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) on the spot while Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) found out something that could spell trouble for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

In Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office at Pozzulo’s, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) arrived and found him with Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean).

Lucy was delighted to see Ethan before turning her attention to Sonny, who learned she was ready to make her move with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Sonny was worried about the danger, but Lucy felt confident she had a grip on the situation.

Once Lucy was gone, Sonny recruited Ethan to help protect Lucy from Sidwell if things went south.

Ethan assumed and got confirmation that Sonny had reasons for not wanting Sidwell dead yet, but Ethan was willing to take fatal action when that changed.

Outside Bobbie’s, James knocked over a chair doing karate and watched it fall at Sidwell’s feet.

After James apologized, Sidwell chatted with him and wondered if he learned that “lethal move” from his “father.”

A nearby “Nathan” eventually ushered James inside for a sundae, but he gave Sidwell a dirty look from the doorway.

At the Metro Court Gardens, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) bristled over Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) acting like “Nathan” might be impersonating Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and warned against asking too many questions.

Josslyn claimed she was going to drop the matter, but she obviously didn’t really plan to.

Once Sidwell met up with Lucy at Bobbie’s, he suggested they should join “Nathan” and James’ table.

“Nathan” got a text from Liesl inviting him to bring James for dessert, so he gladly accepted and got James out of there.

Lucy was glad for the alone time with Sidwell and scored an invite on his yacht, but she was annoyed when he suggested Ava Jerome (Maura West) should join them for the Fourth of July festivities she kept hinting about.

Back at the Metro Court Gardens, James and “Nathan” had a warm reunion with Liesl, who acted rather strangely as she hugged “Nathan.”

Liesl also heard about James joining “Nathan’s” date with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) recently.

Obrecht guessed things were getting pretty serious, so “Nathan” admitted he’d grown closer to Lulu.

After James brought over a slice of cake to share with Liesl, he talked about his sisters not being great at sharing.

Since sisters got everything, James wished he had a brother and wondered if “Nathan” felt that way, too.

“Nathan” pointed out that he had a brother named Peter August (Wes Ramsey) who he didn’t really know, but James said he meant a good brother.

Liesl looked a little wistful as she listened to this conversation playing out.

At one point, Obrecht played up how nice it was for “Nathan” and James to have found each other, but she continued to act a bit off.

Does Liesl suspect or know “Nathan” isn’t the real deal?

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) attic, she joined Valentin and found out about Josslyn’s latest visit to him.

That brought some talk about Faison’s book and the cigarillos that Josslyn found at Wyndemere during the night of the blizzard.

Valentin blamed Cullum for Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) breakdown and wanted to see her in person.

After Valentin admitted he’d called Anna’s clinic again and posed as Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to get Anna news, Carly scolded him.

Valentin’s move left Carly with concerns about the WSB monitoring Anna, which meant Valentin’s call could lead them straight to her house.

After Cullum scored some intel over the phone, he called Sidwell to inform him that Dr. Collins supposedly called Anna’s clinic.

Sidwell didn’t see any red flags until Cullum pointed out that the call came from Port Charles instead of Dublin.

Cullum suggested they needed to find out who made that call and track them down.

At the police station, Josslyn tried to seek information on Cullum’s shooting, but Dante shut her down since the PCPD wasn’t handling it.

That left Joss deep in thought as she flashed back to “Nathan” coming out of Cullum’s hospital room.

Dante eventually admitted that he’d known Josslyn was part of the WSB since last summer.

Josslyn insisted Brennan had deactivated her, but she suspected a cover-up was going on when it came to Cullum’s real shooter.

Dante argued that Josslyn had better come with intel to trade next time and sent her on her way.

From there, Dante got on the phone and decided to reopen the PCPD’s investigation into Cullum’s shooting.

At GH, Britt was tense around Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and wasn’t interested in answering any more of Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) questions about Cullum’s shooting.

In Cullum’s room, he was surprised over Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) giving him such great care despite sharing a child with accused shooter Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Cullum quizzed Liz about Jake Webber (Hudson West) before asking if she was working the night the shooting happened.

Elizabeth confirmed that she was before clarifying that she wasn’t on Cullum’s team.

Cullum also mentioned Jason’s hand injury after firing his gun, but Liz was adamant that she hadn’t seen Jason and took some jabs over the WSB swooping in to take him away.

Once Elizabeth filled Dante in on Cullum questioning her, he realized Cullum was on the hunt for answers, too.

After Britt caught Rocco sneaking a peek in Cullum’s room, she grabbed him and dragged him away from the window.

Rocco brought up the fact that he shot Cullum, but Britt pushed him to never talk about that again and stay away from Cullum since Rocco’s life was at stake.

Britt wanted Rocco to stay away from her as well, so he looked scared as she yelled and manhandled him.

Elizabeth eventually came over to put a stop to Britt’s treatment of Rocco, who took off to do his community service.

As Liz launched a lecture, Britt teared up and stressed the importance of keeping Rocco away from her.

That left Elizabeth looking perplexed.

General Hospital spoilers say Britt will remain an emotional wreck as long as Cullum remains a threat, so stay tuned.
