General Hospital’s (GH) weekly preview video for the week of September 21-25 shows that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will try to save Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), while Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) gets ambushed in Pentonville.
GH just released its promo video for this week, and it looks like another crazy five days in the land of Port Charles, so let’s unpack all the drama!
General Hospital’s preview for the week of September 21 starts off with a scene between Ava and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Ava tells Willow that if Nina is being framed, she may know who it is. As Ava says this, the camera pans to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as he flashes a smile.
It seems highly unlikely that Ava will throw Drew under the bus at this point, but Nina is one of her best friends.
Is there a way she can save her BFF and steer clear as a suspect in Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance?
As scenes shift in the promo, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are making out in an alleyway.
Justine can be heard in the voiceover telling the former mob boss that, “Our secret’s out!” Who will catch Justine and Sonny in the act?
Speaking of Sonny, he is then shown with his brother and lawyer, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).
A woman in the voiceover says, “… has to go down,” and Sonny replies to Ric, “Let them try,” with a smile.
Someone will be gunning for Sonny, but he won’t seem overly concerned with the threat. Sonny can be over-confident sometimes, to his detriment!
As the General Hospital weekly preview winds down, the final clip centers on Pentonville.
A thug approaches Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and tells him to find a reason not to be in his cell after lunch.
The next scene shows Sidwell cornered in his cell by the inmate that was talking to Curtis, and a friend.
General Hospital spoilers note that it looks like Sidwell is about to get ambushed in his prison cell, and all arrows are pointing to the idea that Curtis will swing in for the save, but will he regret this decision?
