General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) may be putting himself in grave danger by going after Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is counting on Ric to figure out Hudson’s weak spot so they can gain the upper hand, but trouble is brewing.
In the October 15 episode, Ric managed to get in Hudson’s locker at the boxing gym and stole his briefcase briefly.
That gave Ric a chance to plant a listening device, so now he could score some blackmail material if all goes well.
Sonny knows he can’t go after Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) directly, so going after Hudson is the next best thing.
If Ric comes through for Sonny, they feel like maybe they can drive Hudson away from his job working for Josslyn at JJE.
Ric views Hudson as a pathetic lackey, so he’s definitely not scared of him striking back.
However, Hudson’s boss could be a totally different story and end up being someone Ric should definitely be afraid of!
Ric is a little too arrogant when it comes to Hudson and this entire situation.
It seems like GH writers might be setting Ric up for some shockers that could put his life on the line.
Now that Ric is listening in on Hudson’s conversations, he could overhear him on the phone with his mystery boss.
That could lead to Ric finding out that the person Hudson’s working for doesn’t want Josslyn on the JJE throne.
It seems likely that Jude (Wil Traval) will turn out to be the person ordering Hudson around.
Jude and Hudson could ultimately have some in-person discussions once the former comes to town, so Ric could eavesdrop on those, too.
Since Jude is probably going to be the show’s next big villain, Ric could be endangering himself by getting tangled up with him.
Once Hudson and his mystery boss inevitably find out what Ric’s up to, there could be severe consequences.
Jude may be the kind of guy who wants to permanently silence Ric once his blackmail mission is exposed.
Perhaps Jude will also be the kind of guy who wants to send a message to Sonny by getting rid of his half-brother.
Ric may survive whatever storm is brewing, but he could still end up seriously injured at GH.
Sonny and Ric may be provoking a far worse enemy than they realize, so some terrifying news could result.
General Hospital spoilers say this Hudson eavesdropping mess will lead to problems regardless, so stick with the ABC soap.
