Someone surprising will arrive to see Willow on September 9, so let’s consider who’ll reach out and perhaps have some tough questions.
Alimi Ballard recently made his debut as WSB Agent William Baines, who’s taking the lead on the investigation into Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) filled Baines in on everything she knew so far, including the confrontation that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) witnessed between Brennan and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Baines is eager to find out more information about Nina and her beef with Brennan, so it makes sense that he might grill her daughter next.
Willow may be in for a shock when Baines shows up and introduces himself.
Once Willow gets past her surprise, she may grow confused over why Baines is there to see her.
That’s when Baines may admit Brennan has vanished and insist there’s reason to believe foul play might’ve been involved.
Baines might point out that since Nina was overheard threatening Brennan at the Metro Court Gardens, he’d like to know more about her mom’s relationship with Jack.
Willow may get grilled about Nina and struggle to know exactly how to handle this.
If Baines is indeed Willow’s upcoming visitor, then Congresswoman Cain will may grow fearful about Brennan’s disappearance and the fact that Nina’s under suspicion.
Willow may fear that if the WSB digs deep enough, they could unravel the whole ugly fake stroke story.
There’s also the matter of Willow’s blackmail material going poof right along with vanished Brennan!
Willow won’t have access to that leverage to hold over Drew now, so she may start to panic.
Drew will arrive to gloat before the week of September 7-11 wraps up, but it seems Willow may have to deal with Baines’ grilling session first.
After Baines presumably puts Willow on the hot seat with his Brennan and Nina quiz, she’ll have more reasons to worry!
