Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers for the week of September 7-11 reveal that Bradley “Smitty” Smith (Mike Manning) may be a suspect in Lia Whitmore’s (Cecelia Specht) murder, while Heather Armstrong (Ashley Jones) and Nicole Dupree (Daphnee Duplaix) clash.
The CBS soap just dropped its weekly promo for next week, and fans need to brace for some major drama.
But first off, Beyond the Gates will be airing a repeat episode on Monday, September 7, due to the Labor Day holiday.
The CBS soap will resume regular programming as of Tuesday, September 8.

Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson) will attempt to take a seat at a table with two gentlemen – Shanice Johnson’s (Ernestine Johnson ) brothers – when one declares that no one said it was okay for him to sit there.
Ted is puzzled as the other man notes, “You heard what my brother said; you’re not welcome here.”
Actor Denzell Dandridge will debut as Lamont Johnson, while Khiry Walker will play Cedric Johnson on the Tuesday, September 8 episode, so it’ll be interesting to see how Shanice’s brothers play into her romantic storyline!
Across town, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) walks into Anita Dupree’s (Tamara Tunie) home, along with Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) by her side, and Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) there, too.
Anita questions what Leslie wants, and the woman snaps back, telling her not to get testy, and they’ll just be a minute.
Is this about Barbara Mitchell’s voice making it on the next Articulettes’ album? Can Anita and Leslie sort out their differences to make this happen?
Meanwhile at Orphey Genes, the Beyond the Gates weekly promo shows Heather with Nicole and her grandchildren, Samantha Richardson-Smith (Najah Jackson) and Tyrell Richardson-Smith (Jaden Lucas Miller).
Heather sweetly gushes over Samantha and Tyrell, but Nicole doesn’t seem happy.
As the scenes shift, Nicole is then with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) and Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). She angrily warns Joey to keep Heather away from her grandchildren.
Elsewhere, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) is texting Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) and flirting up a storm.
Dani lets out a laugh, which catches Andre Richardson’s (Sean Freeman) attention. This is when the man asks what’s so funny. #UhOh
As the preview comes to a close, the last clip is between Smitty, Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges), and Naomi Hawthorne (Arielle Prepetit).
It looks as if Naomi is acting as Smitty’s attorney, while Jacob interrogates him.
Smitty interrupts Jacob, wondering why he would ask him the questions he would ask a suspect.
This is when Smitty questions if Lia Whitmore’s (Cecelia Specht) death is now a murder investigation. Is Smitty a suspect?
Beyond the Gates spoilers suggest that Lia’s passing has rocked Fairmont Crest and will continue to cause waves, so fans will have to tune in to see what happens next.
