General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could end up shooting Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) instead of her intended target, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
GH’s weekly preview has just been dropped, and there’s an interesting scene that closes the video, indicating that Jason could become a bloodied victim in all this.
As General Hospital fans anticipated, Jason will follow Britt to Mt. Emerson during the Tuesday, September 8 episode.
Thankfully, Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) overheard his colleague’s conversation and mentioned this to Jason when he dropped by the hospital to pick Britt up for the Quartermaine Labor Day party.
The GH preview shows Jason in the wooded area, pleading with Anna to stop.
Anna tells her friend that ‘this has to end tonight’. As the camera pans, Britt is on the ground, terrified, as three shots are heard in the dark, and the promo closes.
Anna will shoot her gun three times at that, but will she aim in the right direction? Could she end up shooting Jason by accident?
It would be easy to see Jason trying to intercept the gun from Anna after he realizes his request to put the gun down is being ignored.
Jason would never want to hurt Anna, but he may rush her, push her down, and overpower her to save Britt … and also save jail time for Anna!
In the struggle of it all, Anna may wind up shooting Jason in the chaos of it all!
Then again, she may end up shooting him on purpose! If the Peter August (Wes Rasmey) hallucination pops up and encourages Anna to shoot Jason, too, she could listen to him.
After all, Peter is the reason she’s targeting Britt in the first place! Still, Peter may reason that despite their past, Jason cannot be trusted.
Perhaps, Peter informs Anna that Jason has been compromised thanks to his involvement with Britt.
This might be enough for Anna to wave caution to the wind and shoot one of the closest people she has in her circle of friends.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that this Anna/Jason/Britt confrontation will get intense, so fans will have to tune in to see if Anna ends up shooting either Britt or Jason – and if she’ll get away with it!
