The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, September 14, indicate that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will clash with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) now that they’re dealing with a pregnancy complication.
Steffy has a bun in the oven, so that’s obviously a game changer when it comes to this storyline.
Carter may push Steffy to take another test to be sure, but she’ll inform him that she already did!
Steffy tried to convince herself the first one had to be a mistake, so she took a second test and got the same pregnancy confirmation.
It’s time to face reality now, so that’s why Steffy’s insisting that she has to tell John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) the truth.
Carter may urge Steffy to just stop for a second and think about this, but she’ll feel like they’re out of options at this point.
As for the paternity of Steffy’s baby, will that be a mystery or could Finn wind up being eliminated as a bio dad candidate?
If Steffy and Finn haven’t sizzled in the bedroom recently, she may know for certain the baby belongs to Carter.
Finn is a doctor with a hectic schedule, so maybe he wasn’t active in the passion department with Steffy leading up to their doomed Monaco trip.
It all depends on the story B&B wants to tell and how they want to handle this paternity situation.
Regardless, Carter may try to convince Steffy to hold off on admitting anything to Finn, but she’ll feel like confessing is inevitable.
Steffy may urge Carter to go ahead and confess their one-night stand to Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) as well, but that’s the last thing he’ll want to do!
Once Steffy heads back to the cliff house, she’ll prepare for her full admission to Finn.
Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) will pop up at some point and see that Steffy’s on edge, so she’ll toss some questions her way.
Steffy won’t divulge any secrets to Taylor, who’ll be weirded out and will wish she could get to the bottom of what’s really going on.
Over with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), she’ll be proud of Finn when he once again vows that Steffy and the kids will always be his priority.
This pregnancy news is Steffy’s worst nightmare, but Carter will have a lightbulb moment related to Daphne’s surrogacy in the coming episodes and try to turn it all around.
