General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of September 14 suggest that William Baines (Alimi Ballard) will find Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) wallet and arrest Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
The ABC soap just dropped its weekly preview, and there are scenes showing Brennan’s wallet being discovered, and then Baines arresting someone at the Metro Court Pool.
It’s hard not to imagine that Nina will be the one that Baines hauls away, for a number of reasons.
First off, Nina and Brennan had a very public fight at the Metro Court Gardens mere days before his disappearance.
Nina was trying to convince Brennan to dig up dirt on Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen, as he had done with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Still, the WSB Chief refused to do so and was encouraging Nina to let go of helping Willow so much with all her crazy shenanigans.
Brennan felt as though Nina was getting far too wrapped up in her daughter’s life, and that Willow would turn on her in a drop of a hat.
Brennan was merely trying to help his new gal pal, but Nina didn’t see it that way and lashed out a little too harshly.
Unfortunately, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was one of the many people who heard Nina utter threats at Brennan.
In fact, Drew was another, as well as former WSB agent, now surgeon, Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer), Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson), and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
It’s important to remember that the above people are those who fans know from storylines: there were a slew of unnamed guests at the MC Gardens there, as well.
Obviously, with Drew being one of the people there, a genius idea struck him after he buried Brennan next to the Quartermaine estate, and he grabbed the man’s wallet and planted it in Nina’s car.
Still, during the week of September 7 when Baines grilled Carly about Brennan’s disappearance, she was quick to tell him about Nina’s threat and pointed him in her rival’s direction.
Now it looks like Baines will interrogate Nina, and based on this, he may issue a search warrant for Nina’s home and car.
Of course, he and his team will instantly find Brennan’s wallet, so will this be enough evidence to haul Nina into custody?
General Hospital spoilers remind fans that the WSB doesn’t exactly work by the book and believes in the theory, ‘guilty until proven otherwise’, so Nina may find herself in some massive hot water in the days ahead.
