General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) may make a big comeback sooner or later. After all, the show must’ve had a reason for secretly keeping Cassius alive and putting him to work at the WSB.
Cassius could’ve truly faced a grim fate after that dramatic showdown on Spoon Island, but that’s not what happened.
In the end, Z (John Oliver) faked Cassius’ death and let him take the fall for all the cold fusion drama.
Instead of Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) getting the blame he deserved, Cassius was made the villain instead.
Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) cooperation was required for this dirty Cassius move, but she has no idea that he survived and is now a WSB employee like her.
Of course, Josslyn needs to find out what Z is keeping from her at some point.
This just might be the perfect comeback story for Cassius, especially if Ryan Paevey doesn’t want to make a long-term commitment.
Cassius wouldn’t necessarily be needed for a lengthy GH arc.
Instead, perhaps Cassius could pop up somewhere when Josslyn least expects it and shock Josslyn with a brief reunion.
Josslyn is determined to get back in the field and tackle another WSB mission as soon as possible.
It seems like Josslyn misses the thrill, so she’s eager to experience that heroic high again.
Josslyn’s reckless side could easily come out during her next assignment.
Maybe Josslyn could land in some sticky situation and need a dramatic rescue to get out of it.
That’s when Cassius might suddenly appear and save the day!
Cassius could come through for Josslyn after completing his own WSB training and stun her with the news of his survival.
Z might allow Josslyn to finally learn the truth about what happened to Cassius.
Josslyn surely won’t like the fact that she was lied to and may apologize to Cassius when the time comes for them to reunite.
Whatever the case, Josslyn needs to find out this Cassius secret at some point and address the deal she struck that smeared his name.
Cassius and Josslyn need some closure, so perhaps the show could give them a brief reunion to talk things out.
