General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of October 19-23 indicate that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will accuse Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) of framing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
GH just dropped its weekly promo, and there are some interesting insights to examine, so let’s get into it!
During the General Hospital preview video from the week of October 19, there is a scene between Sonny and Jason where the former mob boss asks his friend to, “Find out whatever you can.”
As scenes shift, Jason asks someone offscreen if they framed Sonny “for it.”
Jason is likely talking about the frame job surrounding the Pentonville attack.
Not only was Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) injured in the strike, but Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was also hurt when he tried to intervene.
Of course, fans know that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are behind the entire thing as they compromised Sonny’s former mob employee, Vito (Jason Paul Field).
Vito was the one to approach a Pentonville prisoner, placing the order to attack Sidwell on Sonny’s behalf; however, it was really Drew and Ava who paid Vito off to do so.
The case against Sonny is mounting, as the PCPD and ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) look to nail Sonny to the wall for this crime, even though he’s innocent of any foul play (for once in his life!)
Still, as Josslyn recently swooped in and blindsided Sonny by purchasing those piers right from under him, the man may believe that his former stepdaughter had something to do with it.
After all, as a bona fide WSB spy, Josslyn has become a force to be reckoned with.
As Jason is so close to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Josslyn’s godfather, Sonny may ask him to intervene.
At the very least, Sonny will want to know if Joss framed him. He may also want Jason to talk to Joss on his behalf to smooth things over.
Sonny has already made it clear that he doesn’t want to strike back at Josslyn directly, no matter how many lines she’s crossed.
Sonny loves Josslyn as one of his own; he was her stepfather and helped raise her for many years.
Plus, Sonny still cares about Carly too much to do anything to harm her daughter.
Yet, Sonny has no issue targeting JJE and Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel), so there’s that to consider.
At the end of the day, Sonny doesn’t want anything to get too ugly, so he’ll hope that Jason can help out.
Will Jason’s accusation create a wedge or crack between him and Josslyn?
Joss may get super offended at Jason’s question, especially since her best friend, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) father got caught up in the crossfire and was very hurt.
General Hospital spoilers hint the week of October 19 will provide some intense moments, as Josslyn defends herself and her actions to Jason, someone she loves and admires tremendously.
