General Hospital (GH) spoilers imply that there’s a good chance that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will prove Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) innocence where the Pentonville beatings are concerned.
Josslyn was outraged to learn during the Friday, October 2 episode that Sonny organized an ambush of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) by Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Unfortunately, since Sidwell’s new roommate in jail is Trina’s father, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he became a causality in the situation.
There’s nothing that Curtis and Trina love to do more than jump to the wrong conclusion, so they believe that Sonny is behind this beating, and they are not budging from their stance.
This is interesting as Curtis was just proven wrong about Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) being the other driver in Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) accident.
Still, both Trina and Curtis are digging their heels in about this, so Josslyn assured her best friend that Sonny would go down for the crime.
Josslyn may be a CEO of a massive conglomerate and WSB agent to boot, but it looks like she’ll make time to launch an investigation to prove Sonny’s guilt so she can finally nail her former stepfather to the wall.
After all, her hate for Sonny inspired her to become a WSB agent in the first place, so Josslyn will view this all as a full circle moment for her and her superspy career.
Still, fans know that Sonny is innocent.
All signs may lead to Sonny being behind the orders; however, once Josslyn gets to the nitty-gritty of finding any substantial proof, she’ll see that Sonny wasn’t the one to organize the attack.
With that said, will this be an opportunity for her to bring down two other major rivals, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison)?
After all, they were the ones to hand over the orders to Vito (Sam Duffy) and wanted to frame Sonny.
It’ll be interesting if Joss can get Vito to throw Drew and Ava under the bus.
Still, the biggest revelation of this all might be the fact that Joss will have to eat crow.
Gunning to bring Sonny down will prove to bit Josslyn in the butt, as she’ll end up saving the man she detests by helping exonerate him.
General Hospital spoilers suggest this might be a turning point for Josslyn and Sonny, who once got along great, and were seemingly bonded for life – could they re-establish this relationship in the aftermath?
