General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 20-24 hint that Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) may confess to shooting Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
General Hospital’s weekly promo has just been released, and there’s a clip that has Rocco telling someone unknown, “Jason didn’t shoot Agent Cullum …” so there’s a good chance he spills the beans to Britt.
After all, Britt has been trying to figure out who really shot the WSB double-agent, as she was sure Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had nothing to do with it.
Britt has been struggling to figure out why Jason would take the blame for the crime.
Especially since Britt knows that Jason wouldn’t admit to the shooting, even if he had shot Cullum.
Jason got hauled away to parts unknown by the WSB immediately after the shooting and was not acting like himself.
Many characters have pointed out that if Jason had shot Cullum, he wouldn’t have been so sloppy as to have gotten caught.
Besides, Cullum wouldn’t be recovering in the hospital if Jason had shot him – he’d be in the morgue – so the entire situation has not sat well with Britt from the moment it happened.
Rocco is slated to do some volunteer work at the hospital in the days ahead.
Fans may recall he got probation and community service for breaking into PCU Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) lab some months ago, and he’s working through these hours at the hospital.
As he’ll be at Britt’s place of employment, the two are bound to run into each other, but how will the subject of Cullum’s shooting even come up?
The GH promo also shows a scene of Rocco entering Cullum’s hospital room, so it sounds like he’ll wind up in the WSB Director’s orbit as well.
Rocco will obviously not only feel awkward about the situation, but terrified, so does he have a panic attack after he leaves the room? Will he encounter Britt right after this happens?
Rocco may be so wound up from the conversation he has with Cullum that he spills the truth to Britt.
There’s also the chance that Rocco overhears Britt talking to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) and interjects after the fact.
Either way, Rocco is wracked with guilt over Jason taking the blame for something he did, along with the repercussions that Jason is facing for shooting a high official within the WSB.
The teen boy is desperate to confide in someone – other than his mother, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), so will that person be Britt?
Britt will be caught between a rock and a hard place once she realizes her surrogate son was the one Jason was covering for, so Jason’s need to protect Rocco will answer her inquisitive mind surrounding his motive to take the fall for Cullum’s shooting.
Jason will also become a greater hero in Britt’s mind for doing this for Rocco.
Still, this will also place her in a pickle when it comes to any attempts to exonerate Jason or clear his name.
General Hospital spoilers note that things are about to get complicated in Britt’s world this week, so fans will need to tune in to see her reaction to Rocco’s truth and what she’ll decide to do next.
