General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Panics, Nina Admits Brennan Not Paralyzed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will get some news that leaves her reeling.

Although Willow was counting on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to give Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) another injection, Nina ultimately couldn’t do that to him.

In GH’s May 22 episode, Willow could tell that Nina was struggling over the idea of giving Brennan a second paralytic dose.

It seemed like Willow was perhaps doubting Nina a bit, but she let her mom enter Brennan’s room to get this done anyway.

After a run-in with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), Nina turned her attention to Brennan and found that he was already regaining his ability to speak.

Nina got emotional and put the syringe in the medical waste receptacle instead of injecting Brennan like she said she would.

In that moment, Nina was putting a lot on the line.

Now Nina has to trust that it was enough to get Brennan back on her side or at least convince him not to throw her in prison along with Willow.

Brennan knows he was given Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) medication, so he also knows this paralytic is what’s keeping Drew locked in.

Jack has experienced what that’s like for himself, so surely won’t be on board with letting Nina and Willow continue drugging Drew into a state of paralysis.

However, Brennan is also going to understand why Willow needs leverage on Drew so badly.

Willow has been pushing Brennan to help her score that, so that deal could remain in play if he chooses not to blab the real story.

Nina may tell Brennan that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is the real problem for roping Willow into this locked-in Drew scheme and then forcing her to be his puppet in Congress.

Nina’s decision to show Brennan mercy perhaps proved her true character and could make a difference with Jack.

Plus, Willow and Nina are rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Sidwell and Cullum are the ones running a cold fusion project that could have deadly consequences, so the focus has to be on sinking them.

In the end, Brennan may agree not to rat Nina and Willow out, but Willow’s going to lose her mind when she realizes Nina didn’t go through with the injection.

Since Willow will face some horror on May 28, that may be when Nina confesses that she chose to trust Brennan instead.

Willow may spell out all the reasons why this is too risky, but Nina may remind her that Brennan might be the only one with the power to get the leverage she needs on Drew.

Whatever the case, it’ll be interesting to see how long Brennan keeps up the locked-in act and when he might make a miraculous recovery.

Brennan will have to play this just right and will have a major secret he can hold over Nina and Willow, but Nina will try to convince her daughter this was the right thing to do.

General Hospital spoilers say Willow’s going to freak out anyway, so stay tuned for Nina’s attempt to calm her down.
