General Hospital Tuesday, June 16 Recap: Valentin’s Geneva Trip and Farewell to Carly – Cullum’s Huge Discovery

General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, June 16, reveals that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) made some difficult plans while Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) discovered something that pointed him in Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) direction.

At home following all the PCPD drama, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) sided with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) over his decision to arrest Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), but it was obvious she just wanted Chase to believe she was on his side.

After Michael Coirinthos (Rory Gibson) brought Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) up to speed on all the Tracy and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) drama, Tracy complained to Michael about Brook Lynn acting like she believed Willow’s version of events.

Michael made it clear that he thought Brook Lynn should adopt Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton) as a single mother.

Chase loved Brook Lynn in spite of her Quartermaine qualities instead of because of them, so Michael felt she’d be better off without him.

At Turning Woods, Willow showed up to tell Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was a fugitive, which was a problem since he was the one supplying Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) paralytic doses.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) arrived to spill about missing Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) before talk turned to Willow getting Tracy arrested.

Since Willow no longer had access to Drew’s drug, Nina pushed Brennan to give them the leverage on Drew right away.

Brennan maintained that he needed to recover first and that he was the only one who had access to the information in his private office safe.

At the PCPD, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) was skeptical over “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) story about Sidwell’s escape, but Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) defended him.

Since Justine had issues with “Nathan” and Chase lately, Dante suggested her problem should be with him and not his department.

Dante later warned “Nathan” that he was on thin ice with ADA Turner since she was threatening him with Internal Affairs.

“Nathan” and Dante also cleared the air over what all the Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) drama.

As for Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett), he grilled “Nathan” about the syringe found in Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) room and assumed it could be some sort of Huntington’s treatment, but “Nathan” acted like he was in the dark.

Afterward on Tuesday’s GH episode, Joe called forensics since he was eager to find out the exact contents that had been in Britt’s syringe.

At Carly’s house, Valentin insisted on taking a trip to Geneva to speak with “Z” in person about Cullum being a double agent, but he knew it’d likely result in his own imprisonment.

Carly finally relented on Valentin’s plan and agreed to call Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) over so he could say goodbye, but they headed to the bedroom for a goodbye of their own first.

At Wyndemere, Cullum had a WSB agent (Matt Merchant) dig for answers about the call that came into Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) clinic from someone claiming to be Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).

It took some work, but the WSB agent came back with cell tower information that pointed to the call originating from Shoreline Road.

Cullum recalled visiting Carly’s house in that area and seemed suspicious of Valentin hiding out there.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will face Cullum’s questions soon enough, so stick with the ABC soap.
