General Hospital Wednesday, September 9 Recap: Jason Cleans Up Crime Scene After Anna Shoots Peter

General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, September 9, reveals that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) made sure there was no trace of what Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had done after she fired her gun at “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey).

Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) also went running to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) for WSB help, so here’s how Wednesday’s GH episode played out.

On Mount Emerson, “Peter” kept ordering Anna to shoot Britt while Jason urged her not to do this.

Britt and Jason were weirded out by Anna talking to someone who wasn’t there.

Anna was pushed to her limit and decided to end this by firing multiple shots at “Peter,” who obviously wasn’t really there.

Jason dove to cover Britt and made sure she was OK before telling her to get out of there.

Both Britt and Jason were thankfully unharmed, but Anna was a wreck emotionally as she handed over the gun.

Anna realized Jason couldn’t see “Peter” like she could, so she opened up about the manifestations.

“Peter” convinced Anna to tell her doctors what they wanted to hear and get out of the clinic in France.

Anna worried that Britt would be dead if Jason hadn’t been there and seemed deeply distraught over her own mental state.

At Anna’s apartment, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) urged Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) not to push Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) away like he did before.

After Gio left for the Quartermaine mansion, Jason brought Anna home to a worried Emma.

Jason said he’d like to come back and stay the night, but he returned to Mount Emerson first for clean-up duty.

Jason gathered up the tarp that Anna had prepared for Britt and picked up the bullet casings that had been fired at “Peter,” too.

As for Anna, she tearfully admitted to Emma that she wasn’t as well as she’d previously claimed and that she almost did something she couldn’t take back.

Anna seemingly explained everything off-screen before saying she was sorry and accepting Emma’s weepy hug.

At the Quartermaine estate, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) comforted Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but he also gave her some honesty and wasn’t sure Chase could understand their family.

Gio showed up to talk to Brook Lynn, so Ned made himself scarce.

Since Brook Lynn had been rushing to see him perform that night, Gio wondered if all this happened because of him.

Brook Lynn assured Gio that wasn’t the case and swore that she didn’t stop because she didn’t know a crash happened.

After Brook Lynn pleaded with Gio to say he believed her, she had to step away to deal with a fussy Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

Gio ultimately stood there deep in thought as he watched Brook Lynn tend to Phoebe.

At Josslyn’s place, Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) called her out for refusing to move to Australia when it was best for the company.

Hudson assumed this was because of the WSB, but Josslyn insisted she was on leave.

Josslyn had looked into Hudson’s background at Jasper Jacks Enterprises and wondered why he was so invested after only a few months working there.

Hudson also had a gap in his resume that Josslyn found puzzling, but he claimed he made some good investments that allowed him to take time off.

Britt arrived and forced Josslyn to kick Hudson out.

After Britt pushed Josslyn to call the WSB since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) tried to kill her, she ranted about Anna being crazy and eventually revealed Jason had witnessed what happened.

Josslyn texted Jason hoping to gather more information and allowed Britt to stay the night on her sofa.

At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) let Chase in and wondered what was wrong.

Chase confessed that he didn’t know where else to go and suggested his whole world had fallen apart.

Chase admitted to Willow that Brook Lynn was the other driver who fled the crash that night and shared that she framed Willow for it as well.

Willow didn’t hold it against Chase when she found out he initially covered up Brook Lynn’s attempt to frame her since he was protecting his wife.

Chase felt like he didn’t know the real Brook Lynn, especially since she was capable of setting Willow up for something she did herself.

Now Chase had to figure out where he’d be staying tonight and every other night after that.

After Willow tried to console Chase, he said he had to handle this on his own and took off. Hudson wound up watching Chase leave the gatehouse and looked suspicious.

At GH, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austrin Astrup) filled Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) in on Brook Lynn being the other driver.

Trina refused to buy Brook Lynn’s side of the story and blamed her for Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) prison sentence.

Portia insisted Curtis was responsible for his prison stint instead.

Trina was sorry for thinking it was possible that Isaiah fled the scene that night and worried about how Curtis would take the news that Brook Lynn was to blame.

Isaiah spoke to Portia privately about his belief that this wouldn’t change Curtis’ view of him.

Although Curtis didn’t want Isaiah in Desmond Ashford’s (Yirah Aviah Lafond) life, Portia suggested he couldn’t do anything about that behind bars.

General Hospital spoilers say Portia and Isaiah have more Curtis-related problems ahead of them, so stay tuned.
