General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) recently offered up a couple of intriguing clues on Instagram.
Since Storms provided confirmation that she’s back in Los Angeles and she’s rocking a blonde hairstyle again, it’s led to speculation that she might be reprising her role as Maxie.
In Kirsten Storms’ Instagram stories, she shared some news that got GH fans buzzing.
Storms showed off her brown locks earlier this month, but she’s already gone back to blonde and revealed that she’s in California again as well.
“Back in Cali. Back to blonde,” Storms said in the caption of her cute photo.
A little later, Storms made a full-blown Instagram post devoted to her hair color transformation and LA return.
That led to Storms giving a shout-out to the person who helped her achieve the perfect blonde look.
“Already posted this in my stories, buuuut the brunette hair didn’t last long,” Storms said. “THANK YOU for the legit new dye job @gaylemargaretpeoples You are the loveliest. #TheNeverendingHairstyles #OfMyLife #Continues #BackInLosAngeles”
Since Storms is looking more Maxie-ish with her blonde hairdo and confirmed that she’s in LA, could she be making a Maxie comeback?
Maxie recently moved to Australia with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and the kids, but there could easily be some story-related reason for her to come home to Port Charles and perhaps bring James West (Gary James Fuller) with her.
Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is missing James and wishing he were still hanging around the stables.
Although James is off having lots of fun new Australian adventures, he no doubt misses Cody and the horses as well.
We could imagine Maxie bringing James back for a visit and maybe getting caught up in the Deception drama while she’s in town.
No one can rule out the idea of a Maxie return, so it’s an option to consider.
Of course, it’s also possible Kirsten Storms just wanted to go back to sporting her usual blonde hairstyle in her personal life.
There could be other reasons for Storms’ Los Angeles comeback as well, so nothing is set in stone here.
That said, Storms’ revelations were enough to get social media curious, so we’ll see if she might reprise the role of Maxie at some point.
